Destiny 2: How to complete Catharsis quest - Ultimate Guide

This quest is the final step in the Bound in Sorrow quest and is related to the final ritual to lock Calus out of the moon pyramid, cutting off Derelict Levithan's progress. In order to access this mission, you will have to reach step 50 in the Bound in Sorrow story, but if you don't know how to complete the Catharsis quest, just keep reading.
The first thing you have to do to access this mission is to advance in Bound in Sorrow, until you unlock it. But if you still haven't managed to get to this point, we recommend you check your registry to know what you have to do.
On the way to the throne, Caiatl's communications will be blocked, but it will still be the direct path to your destination. You can guide yourself with the landmarks, to know where you have to go to find the Throne Room in the abandoned Leviathan. Just make sure you're well-prepared, as there are plenty of nightmares in the room.
What you have to do is stand in the middle of nightmares, so that the ground sinks. When this happens, Crow and Zavala will acknowledge having completed their amps, but will be attacked and become static upon reaching the critical part of Calus' ship.
At the other end, you will find a portal that you will have to go through. Next to it, you will find Caiatl waiting for you. However, no one else has been able to, so you will have to complete the next step.
So jump down to place the flag and when you're ready, you'll need to place the harvester on the node to the left of Caiatl to start the final ritual. Upon starting the ritual, you will have to face all the Nightmares you have fought for at the other points in the ritual. At this point, you will see Kethiks, Ghaul, and Fanatic again.
When facing this fight for the first time, you will find Fanatic and you can attack him with standard weapons, but now you will have to attack him with the Harvester's Scythe.
After finishing with the fanatic, you will have to return to Caiatl, whom you will have to protect from the assault of some skulls. So defend until the shield, until the skulls are gone and when this happens, Kethinks and Ghaul will come back, and you will have to eliminate them with the scythe.
After completing the Final Nightmare, you will be able to see a cutscene and the quest will be completed.
