How to Use Artillery Barrage in Delta Force

We have made a detailed guide to explain you How to Use Artillery Barrage in Delta Force.

In Delta Force, players aren't limited to using vehicles and small weaponry; they can also call in a number of fire support and logistics drops when playing in Warfare mode. One such ability is the ability to mark a target for an artillery bombardment that could significantly slow or even stall the enemy advance.

While it's not difficult to call in a barrage of explosives, many players might not know how to do so, which is a shame since calling in artillery is often a requirement for events and daily quests. This is how you do it in the Warfare mode of Delta Force.

How to Use Artillery Barrage in Delta Force?

By default, players will need to hold down the 5 key on their keyboard to call in artillery. This button is bound to open the support menu, which opens up a whole world of tactical options to swing the tide of battle in your favor. Outside of the Artillery Barrage, other support options include a smokescreen, vehicle drop, team respawn beacon, and destructive cruise missile.

The moment you choose the Artillery Barrage from the support option, your Delta Force operator will retrieve a tablet displaying your current map layout. Wait a few seconds and then choose an area you would like the barrage to strike. The area you've pinned will soon be bombarded with shells that will harm or kill any enemies unlucky enough to be caught in their path. Keep in mind that Shafted and the C sector of Ascension are underground maps where the Artillery Barrage will do no good (but Cruise Missiles will still be effective).

You need to build up enough points before you can use an Artillery Barrage. You get points for just about everything you do that helps your team or hurts the enemy. As a Support, just start restocking, mending, and resurrecting people, and you'll start getting high scores rather easily. For Assault and Recon in Delta Force, the SG552 is a very good option, while the PKM is recommended for Engineers if you're aiming for kills and aggressive plays that bring in points.

The best use of an artillery barrage is to interrupt enemy reinforcements. If you want to maximize the value of a barrage, set it just behind the lines; shelling an objective is alright when you are defending one from capture. To make your enemies easier to kill, your shells should be hitting both the newly created enemy and the ones trying to push. Your teammates' sniper and flanking units will appreciate it.

We conclude this guide on How to Use Artillery Barrage in Delta Force, hoping that the information provided here is useful.
