Reach Episode 3: Drawbridge – Continue the main story until you arrive in Australia.

Board the DHV Magellan – After passing through the plate gate, meet Charlie and watch the following cutscene.

Accept Order 009 – Exit your Private Room, interact with the Delivery Terminal, and take on Order 009 to unlock APAS Enhancements.

Enable Self-Driving Support – Among the default APAS upgrades, you’ll find Self-Driving Support, which enables Auto Drive. Activating it costs 100 APAS Enhancement memory.

To equip it:

• Open the Pause Menu
• Navigate to the Ring Menu
• Select APAS Enhancements and enable Self-Driving Support

Drive on the Powered-Strip – Stay centered on the glowing strip in the middle of the road.

Accelerate (Hold R2) – Avoid boosting (L3) and maintain a steady speed.

Wait for Activation – A gauge labeled "ASST DRV BOOT" will appear on the vehicle’s rear screen. Once full, it changes to "ASST DRV", confirming Auto Drive is active.

Release Controls – Let go of R2 and the left thumbstick—your vehicle will now steer itself.

• Press L3 to boost – This instantly cancels self-driving.
• Steer off the road – Manually veering away from the road regains full control.
