In
Death Stranding 2, there are 9 Hot Springs, each providing Sam with unique temporary buffs after a relaxing bath. Beyond the initial two (located outside the Motherhood base and within Heartman’s Lab), the remaining seven require players to actively find and dig them up at specific points across the expansive Australian map. Discovering these precise locations can be a bit tedious, so this guide will outline all Hot Spring locations in
Death Stranding 2 and detail their accompanying effects.Hot Springs can also be utilized for fast travel in
Death Stranding 2. Additionally, bathing in a Hot Spring is a requirement to unlock the
"Written in the Stars" trophy. The very first Hot Spring you'll encounter is the one situated outside the Motherhood base. Fast traveling from there will transport you to the one inside Heartman’s Lab. Once you have spoken to the Hydrologist within Heartman’s Lab, you will gain access to the
Hot Spring Digger, enabling you to search for and excavate other Hot Springs across Australia.
