How to play Dead Cells in “easy mode”?

Dead Cells is a rogue-like action-platformer video game created by Motion Twin. In the game, players take on the role of a character called the Beheaded and explore the prison island of Dead Cells. As they progress through the game, they will encounter various enemies and bosses while collecting weapons, armor, and upgrades. 

One way to make the game easier is to play it in “easy mode.” In easy mode, the game is slightly easier for players who are not experienced with the game or are just starting out. In this mode, there are certain aspects of the game that are changed, such as increased damage from fire attacks and increased healing from toxic clouds and pools.

To begin playing in easy mode, players must first speak to The Doctor, who can be found in the first room of the prison island. After speaking to The Doctor, players must open the Aspects Menu and choose an Aspect. The Aspects Menu can be accessed by pressing the “Options” button on the main menu. 

Once an Aspect has been chosen, players will be able to customize the game difficulty by adjusting the difficulty slider. Moving the slider to the right will increase the game difficulty, while moving it to the left will decrease the game difficulty. 

The main benefit of playing in easy mode is the increased damage from fire attacks. Fire attacks will deal significantly more damage, making it easier for players to take down enemies and bosses. In addition, the healing from toxic clouds and pools is also increased, so players can recover their health faster after taking damage. 

The downside of playing in easy mode is that players will not be able to claim Boss Stem Cells, which are rewards for defeating bosses. Boss Stem Cells can be used to unlock new weapons, armor, and upgrades, so they are an important part of the game. Playing in easy mode will mean that players will not be able to unlock these rewards.
