How to get Red Envelopes in Dead by Daylight’s Lunar New Year event

The Lunar New Year event is a limited time celebration in Dead by Daylight that is designed to honor the Chinese Lunar New Year. The event features various decorations, such as paper lanterns, and offers in-game rewards, such as bonus Bloodpoints and special event rewards. As part of the Lunar New Year event, the Moonlight Burrow event will also be available to players. This event offers increased vaulting speed and 5000 Bloodpoints as a reward.

Red Envelopes can be obtained in Dead by Daylight’s Lunar New Year event by unlocking them in the Bloodweb. If no Red Envelopes appear on the current level, fill out the screen to generate a new run and they can potentially spawn. When the Red Envelope is equipped, it will burn at the start of a match, revealing a yellow aura for all players to see. It can't be grabbed by the one who activated it, but can be revealed to others when interacted with. The rewards from the Envelope can only be gained when a teammate or opponent picks it up.
