Clair Obscur Expedition 33: Get All Esquie Abilities
Esquie, a steadfast ally, will accompany you on your expedition across the continent. You'll first encounter him within his dwelling, Esquie's Nest. However, he won't immediately join your party. To reach Esquie's Nest, you must progress through the main narrative, completing the Ancient Sanctuary and arriving at the Hidden Gestral Village. Following your participation in the tournament within the village, you'll receive a vital password that grants you entry to Esquie's Nest.Once inside, Esquie will task you with a small quest. Upon its completion, he will officially become a member of Expedition 33, traveling alongside you. As you advance through the story, Esquie will gradually unlock new and essential abilities.Esquie's powers are intrinsically linked to special rocks, which he initially lacks. By locating and returning his lost rocks, you will facilitate the unlocking of even more of his capabilities, solidifying his role as an invaluable asset to your team.Acquiring Esquie's Swimming Ability
Your journey to confront the Paintressat the Monolith necessitates crossing the second ocean, a featachievable only with Esquie's assistance. However, before he cannavigate the waters, he requires your help in finding Florrie. You will obtain Florrie by defeating the final boss at Stone Wave Cliffs and continuing along the main storyline. Once you possess Florrie, Esquie will gain the ability to swim, enabling you to traverse the vast oceans.
As you explore the aquatic environments, you'll encounter coral reefs that obstruct certain pathways. To overcome these barriers, Esquie needs the Swim Through Coral Reefs ability. This upgrade is unlocked by completing the Old Lumiere storyline. With this enhanced swimming capability, even more areas across the ocean will become accessible.
Unlocking Esquie's Flying Ability
Following the culmination of the events at The Monolith and your victory over the Paintress, Esquie will unlock the remarkable ability of flight. This newfound power will grant you access to previously unreachable areas, such as the enigmatic Flying Manor.
Gaining Esquie's Diving Ability
Esquie will acquire the ability to dive underwater once you obtain Urrie. However, to acquire Urrie, you must first increase your bond level with Esquie from level 5 to level 6.
Upon reaching Act 3, initiate a conversation with Esquie at your camp. This will trigger a quest that involves defeating Francois. Successfully completing this quest will grant Esquie the ability todive, opening up the depths of underwater areas for exploration.
