Unlocking All Endings in BrokenLore: Don't Watch
BrokenLore: Don't Watch offers players a total of three distinct endings: the
Good Ending, the
Bad Ending, and the
Secret Ending. Each path reveals more about Shinji's mysterious narrative and provides tantalizing glimpses into future installments of the BrokenLore series.
Good Ending: Embrace the Unknown
The
Good Ending is considered the standard playthrough and is relatively straightforward to achieve.
Enter the Retro Graphics Section: Play through the game until you reach the section with retro-style graphics.Locate the TVs: Once you're outside in this section, you'll see a large screen and an exit door with a big red sign to your right. DO NOT go through this red exit door.Follow the Cables: Instead, follow the cables on the ground until they lead you to a series of TVs.Unplug All TVs: Interact with and unplug each TV. This action will damage the demon that's pursuing you. Don't worry if it starts chasing you; you can outrun it, and you can also withstand a few hits.Continue Playthrough: Once all the TVs are unplugged, the red exit door will vanish, ensuring you're on the path to this specific ending. Continue playing the game normally.Upon completion, you'll achieve the
Good Ending and earn two achievements:
- Endgame: Finish the game.
- No More Hiding: Step outside and embrace the unknown.
Bad Ending: Unresolved Conflict
To achieve the Bad Ending, you need to make a specific choice early in the retro graphics section.
Enter the Retro Graphics Section: Play until you enter the retro graphics area.Go Through the Red Exit Door: Remember the big red exit door mentioned for the Good Ending? For the Bad Ending, you need to go through it.Choosing this path will skip the entire TV sequence and, importantly, the bigreveal that Shinji is the monster. You'll find yourself back in hisapartment without the chase sequence. Continue playing the game as youwould normally, and you'll notice a significant difference as soon asyou step into the elevator, leading you to the Bad Ending.
You will earn the achievement:
- Unresolved Conflict: Receive the Bad ending.
Secret Ending: Beyond the Walls
The Secret Ending can be unlocked at almost any point while you are still within Shinji's apartment. What's unique is that you can even unlock this secret ending and thencontinue your playthrough to pursue either the Good or Bad Endingafterward.
The game provides hints for this ending through various chalk drawings scattered on the walls throughout the game. These drawings subtly guide you toward a specific sequence of interactions within Shinji's room.
To unlock the Secret Ending, you must interact with the following items in Shinji's room in this precise order:
