How to Unlock the Shut-Eye Keep Safehouse in Borderlands 4

In the expansive world of Borderlands 4, a key element of exploration and convenience is the fast travel system. Players rely on activating Safehouses and Silos across the vast map of Kairos to save significant travel time. One such location is Shut-Eye Keep, a Safehouse that, once unlocked, provides a crucial fast travel point in the Fadefields region. While finding the console to activate this Safehouse might seem like a straightforward task, the required Datapad is cleverly hidden, and locating it can be a challenge. This guide will reveal the secrets to unlocking the Shut-Eye Keep Safehouse and provide step-by-step instructions on where to find the elusive Datapad.

Borderlands 4 :  Unlock the Shut-Eye Keep Safehouse

Reaching the Safehouse

Shut-Eye Keep is a distinctive building located in the eastern portion of the Fadefields area. As you approach it, you'll see a structure surrounded by Order troops. While it's tempting to engage every enemy, you can bypass them for the most part to get to the location's activation point. Your goal is to enter the small building to the east of the main structure.Inside, you will find a lever that controls a hidden elevator. Activating this lever will cause the platform you are standing on to ascend, taking you to the top of the Shut-Eye Keep building.

The Hidden Datapad

The main challenge of unlocking this Safehouse is finding the Datapad required to activate the Command Console. While the console is in plain sight, the Datapad is not.

• Enter the Main Room: Once you have taken the elevator to the top of the building, you'll be in the main room of the Safehouse.
• Navigate to the Left: Proceed through this main room and exit through the door on your left.
• Climb the Stairs: Continue up the staircase and then take another left turn. This will lead you into a large, open room.
• Look Up: This is the most crucial step. Instead of looking for a Datapad on adesk or a crate, look up at the ceiling. You will spot a grapple pointhigh above you.
• Grapple to Victory: Use your grapple ability to vault yourself up to the elevated platform.
• Find the Datapad: Once you are on this upper level, you will finally find the Datapad. It is sitting on a small table, seemingly out of reach from the mainfloor.

Activating the Command Console

After you have acquired the Datapad, the rest is simple. Jump down from theelevated platform, and you will land right next to the Command Console.Activate the console using the Datapad you just found.

Once theconsole is activated, Shut-Eye Keep will become a fully functioningSafehouse. You will be able to use it as a fast travel point, a place to restock your ammo, and a location to access the bounty board and yourbank. Activating all the Safehouses across the map is a key part ofefficiently navigating Borderlands 4, and now you'll be able to add Shut-Eye Keep to your list of unlocked locations.
