Where Is The Trading Post Puzzle Box?

The Trading Post puzzle box is located within the Trading Post, which is a special Outer Room. You can only draft Outer Rooms after you have successfully unlocked the West Gate. Unlocking the West Gate involves a specific process related to opening the Garage Door, which provides access to the area beyond the gate and subsequently to the Outer Room drafting options.

How To Solve The Trading Post Puzzle - Secret Trading Post Puzzle Box Solution:

The Trading Post puzzle presents itself as a small 3x3 grid found in the back corner of the Trading Post. While it might resemble other puzzle boxes in Blue Prince, each one has its own unique mechanics. The consistent goal across all these boxpuzzles is to move a specific color tile into each of the four corners of the grid. Once the correct colors are in place, you must click the mountain symbol located in each corner to lock them in and solve the puzzle.

In the case of the Trading Post puzzle, your objective is to move the yellow tiles into all four corner positions. The puzzle has the following tile movement rules:

  • Purple Tile Click (1-3): Clicking the purple tile will rotate the surrounding tiles.
  • Clicking Above or Below Purple Tile (1-2 or 2-3): Clicking the tile directly above or beneath the purple tile will cause the purple tile to move into that clicked spot.
  • Purple Tile Horizontal Movement: The purple tile cannot move horizontally. It is restricted to up and down movements.
  • Yellow Tile Click: Clicking a yellow tile will cause it to move up one space.
  • Yellow Tile Downward Movement: Yellow tiles cannot move down.

Using the row and column notation provided (Row-Column), here is thestep-by-step solution to move the yellow tiles into the corners:

  • Click the purple tile (1-3) to rotate the middle yellow tile to the left.
  • Click the middle left yellow tile (1-2) to swap its position with the purple tile.
  • Click the bottom middle yellow tile (2-1) to move it into the middle space (2-2).
  • Click the purple tile (2-2) twice to rotate the two surrounding yellow tiles.
  • Click the middle yellow tile (2-2) to move it up one space (2-3).
  • Click the purple tile (2-3) once to rotate the surrounding yellow tiles.
  • Click the middle yellow tile (2-2) to move it up one space (2-3).

    Resetting the Puzzle:

    If you make a mistake during the puzzle-solving process, you can reset the Trading Post puzzle by clicking one of the corner symbols when there is not a yellow tile in that corner. This will return the puzzle board to its default starting arrangement.
