How to Get Still Water in Blue Prince

In the expansive and enigmatic game Blue Prince, the endgame presents players with numerous intricate puzzles, one of which involves locating a cryptic item known as Still Water. This elusive substance is crucial for uncovering a significant portion of the game's true ending and can be incredibly difficult to find without guidance. For those grappling with this challenge, here's a detailed guide on how to acquire and utilize Still Water.

Where to Find Still Water in Blue Prince

It appears that there is only one specific location in the entire game where you can obtain Still Water: the Trading Post.

• Locating the Trading Post: The Trading Post is a distinct gold-colored shop room that exclusively appears in the outer room area of the game's environment. This room functions as a trade hub, allowing you to exchange items for others you do not yet possess. Initially, itcontains a Mora Jai puzzle box and a stick of dynamite that cannot beinteracted with.
• Accessing the Secret Room: To find the Still Water within this room, you need to use the Burning Glass on the stick of dynamite. This action will cause the left wall of the Trading Post to blow up, revealing a secret room.
• Finding the Distillery: Inside this newly revealed secret room, you will discover a distillery. Within one of the vats in this distillery, you will find the elusive Still Water.
• Collecting the Still Water: To collect the Still Water, you must first obtain a specific item: the Watering Can.
  • Once you have the Watering Can, you will need to walk through green rooms and use the Watering Can to empty any existing watery contents it might hold.
  • Then, proceed to the Trading Post and approach the open vat in the secret room.
  • Stand in front of the vat for approximately five seconds until a prompt appears, allowing you to refill the Watering Can.
  • Fill up the Watering Can with Still Water, and you can then continue with the puzzle.
  • Persistence of Still Water: If you store the Watering Can, either using the Moon Pendant or theCoat Check, the Still Water will remain within it for the following day, meaning you don't have to re-collect it immediately.
• Prerequisite for Collection: It's important to note that if you have not yet reached Room 46 or acquired the Throne of the Blue Prince, the option to refill the Watering Can with Still Water will not beavailable. You must complete those quests first before proceeding withthis one.

Where to Use the Still Water in Blue Prince

Now that you have successfully acquired the Still Water, its purpose is to reveal the secrets hidden within blank pages.

• Locating Blank Books: If you recall the various rooms you've interacted with, you mightremember a particular room that contained several blank books. These blank books can be found inside the Library.
• Revealing Secrets: On the bottom floor of the Library, you will find two stands with open books displaying blank pages. Simply pour the Still Water onto these pages to reveal hidden secrets and progress further towards understanding the true ending of Blue Prince.
