How to download Black Ops 7 beta

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 open beta is now live, offering players a chance to experience the game's multiplayer and Zombies modes before its full release on November 14, 2025. Access to the beta varies depending on your platform and how you obtained the game.

Beta Dates

The beta is split into two phases:

• Early Access: October 2 - October 
• Open Beta: October 5 - October 8

The Early Access period is for players who have pre-ordered the game or have an active Game Pass subscription. The Open Beta, which begins on October 5, is free for everyone to download and play, regardless of their pre-order status.

The process to download the Black Ops 7 beta depends on your platform and method of access.

For Players with an Early Access Code

If you pre-ordered a physical copy of the game from a participatingretailer, you should have received a 13-digit code. You must redeem this code at the official Call of Duty beta redeem website. After redeeming the code, you will receive anaccess token via email that allows you to download the beta on theplatform you chose.

For Digital Pre-orders

If you pre-ordered Black Ops 7 from a digital storefront (Steam, PlayStation Store, Battle.net, orXbox), you are automatically registered for Early Access and do not need a code.

• On PC (Steam/Battle.net): Check your game library. The beta client or a separate beta downloadshould appear. Some users have reported issues with the beta notappearing in their library; if this happens, contact Activision support.
• On PlayStation: Look for the beta in the PlayStation Store, or it may automatically appear in your game library.
• On Xbox: The beta client should be available for download in the Microsoft Store or your game library.

For Xbox Game Pass Subscribers

Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on both PC and console can jump into the Early Access beta without any extra steps.

• On Xbox Console: Simply open the Xbox app, search for the Black Ops 7 open beta, and download the app.
• On PC: Open the Xbox app for PC, find the beta, and download it.

This is the most straightforward method to gain Early Access to the beta.
