Some players have had trouble earning kills soon after sprinting in Black Ops 6, despite the challenge's clear title: It's a little more difficult to land these kills with the new omnimovement and auto-tac running options, and the game doesn't explain what "shortly" implies.

If you want to know how to get sprinting kills on the hectic multiplayer maps of Black Ops 6, how to make sure your kills are recorded, and what gear to use for this endeavor, then this article is for you.

Black Ops 6: How to Get Kills Shortly After Sprinting

You have one or two seconds to kill an adversary when you stop sprinting if you want to finish this challenge. If you want to complete the challenge and score kills "after" sprinting, then your operator can't be sprinting; they have to be standing, walking, or running.

Make sure there isn't too much time between when you stop sprinting and when you get the kill if your kills while sprinting aren't showing up. You only have a one or two second window to ensure the elimination, according to most tests, however the game doesn't give you a precise timescale.

Optimizations for the Sprint Assist in the Sprinting Kill Challenge: During a Sprint, Whether Strategic or Tactical: Hold

Turn off Sprint Restore.

Set Sprint Assist to "On" or "Tac Sprint" to substitute sprinting for regular jogging; this will optimize your running for the sprint kill camo challenge. Additionally, you have the option to activate Sprint Restore and set Sprint Behavior to Hold. This will enable your operator to immediately cease and resume firing upon sighting down the target.

Make sure you're not running when you shoot the adversary, as your kills will only be recorded if they occur "after" sprinting. By deactivating the default "Sprint Restore" option, the following settings will make sure that your sprint finishes the second you shoot your gun.

Race to the Finish Line in the Most Effective Game Mode and Map

  • Mode of Play: Moshpit Battle
  • Type of Match: Dominance
  • Map: Stakeout or Warhead?

Without having to worry about where your enemies are, small maps let you sprint freely. The "get kills shortly after sprint" task is simpler to fulfill in certain places because adversaries are likely to be in your path regardless of which way you sprint.

This works wonderfully in Face Off Moshpit mode, which has small battle zones like Stakeout and Warhead. Domination is the best mode to play on these tiny maps because other modes, such Team Deathmatch, go by too fast, leaving you no time to finish the challenge.

If you want to improve your chances of getting sprint kills, play the game on Hard difficulty. Defeats occur at a somewhat higher rate in this mode.

Optimal Challenge Loadout

For the sprinting kill task, which requires nimbleness, the Gung-Ho perk, which increases speed, is a must-have accessory. You can increase your weapon's sprint-to-fire rate by equipping it with a grip and stock. To shorten the weapon's time to kill (TTK), be sure to include any optional attachments in your loadout.
