Understanding the Raider Hatch Advantage

Before diving into the quest, understand why Raider Hatches are superior:

• Silent Extraction: Unlike standard methods, hatches allow for a quiet escape, minimizing the risk of attracting hostile ARCs or rival Raiders.
• No Timer: Hatches are permanent fixtures and do not have a timer ticking down, allowing you to use them at your leisure.
• Key Requirement: The only barrier to entry is the Raider Hatch Key, making Shani's quest an essential money-saver.

Phase 1: Locating the Damaged Hatch

To complete the quest, you simply need to locate one of the reported Raider Hatches with leaking hydraulic pipes on any available map.

Finding the Extraction Points

• Map Load: Travel to any of the four available maps in ARC Raiders and wait for your character to successfully land.
• Open the Map: Open your in-game map.
• Identify the Hatch: Look for small, distinctive extraction symbols. These are typically represented by arrows pointed downwards into a spherical shape.
• Confirm Identity: The key differentiator between a Raider Hatch and a standard extraction point is the timer. Raider Hatches will not have a timer next to their symbol.

Simply head toward one of these untimed symbols to find an active Raider Hatch.

Phase 2: The Repair and Retrieval

Once you reach the active Raider Hatch, the repair process is straightforward, focusing on a precise interactable spot.

Conducting the Repairs

• Locate the Pipes: Walk up to the Raider Hatch terminal. The damaged pipes are typically located behind the Raider Hatch's main terminal.
• Interact: Look directly above the leaking pipes. You will find an Interactable spot.
• Start Repairing: Begin repairing the pipes. This triggers the next stage of the quest.

Finding the Hidden Box

Once the initial repair is complete, the quest objective will update, requiring you to locate a nearby container.

• Spot the Box: You are now tasked with looking for a box located near the Raider Hatch. This box will be easy to spot due to the yellow interaction icon highlighting it.
• Search and Secure: Search the box to immediately receive a Raider Hatch Key.

You now have two Raider Hatch Keys: the one you just found, and the one you will receive as a quest reward.

Phase 3: Quest Completion and Rewards

With the key secured, you face a final, immediate choice that determines the quest's completion status.

The Final Choice

Upon receiving the key, you will have a prompt with two options:

• Use the Raider Key: Extract immediately via the now-repaired Raider Hatch.
• Use Normal Extraction: Head to a standard extraction point (elevator, etc.) to save the new key for future use.

To complete the Hatch Repairs quest, you must choose to extract. If you choose to use the key and escape via the Raider Hatch, the quest will be marked as complete upon successful extraction.

Claiming Your Rewards

Once the quest is marked as complete:

Return to Base: Head back to your hub.

Claim Rewards: Navigate to Shani's trader tab.

Loot Haul: Claim your full rewards, which include:

• A second, brand new Raider Hatch Key (for a total of two keys earned from this mission).
• Binoculars (a useful piece of utility gear).
