Unlike standard encounters, the puzzle offers a way to stockpile resources without directly engaging in prolonged battles against ARC machines or rival Raiders—though danger is never far away.

Locating the Ancient Fort Cellar Door

The Ancient Fort is a recognizable landmark on the Blue Gate map, situated in the southeastern region. Within this Point of Interest (POI), players will eventually discover a locked cellar door tucked away on the eastern side of the fort. This door is the gateway to the puzzle and the treasure that lies beneath.While approaching the fort, caution is essential. Hostile ARC units, including Bombardiers and Leapers, often patrol nearby structures. Some reports mention ARC activity around a small house on the northwestern edge of the fort. To avoid unnecessary combat, players can make use of stealth gadgets such as the Photoelectric Cloak, which temporarily conceals movement from robotic enemies.

Steps to Solve the Ancient Fort Cellar Puzzle

Unlocking the cellar requires completing a three-stage objective involving scattered electrical panels. Each panel must be powered using Fuel Cells, which are hidden around the fort. Here’s a structured walkthrough:

• First panel: Move left along the wall from the cellar door. Just beyond the corner, you’ll encounter the first electrical box.
• Second panel: Travel west within the fort and climb the stairs. At the top, turn left to spot another panel on the right-hand side.
• Third panel: From the second panel, continue right, ascend another set of stairs,and enter the adjacent room. The final electrical box is located inside.

If you struggle to locate these panels, follow the wiring connected to the cellar door, which leads directly to each box. Once all three are powered, thecellar door unlocks, revealing a ladder that descends into a loot-filled basement.
