Gear Up and Fortify
- Stockpile Ammo: Bullets and arrows are the key means of keeping zombies at bay. Priority goes to arrow-crafting since they are cheaper and easier to manufacture.
- Master Weaponry: There would be the importance of an array of weapons. Bows for ranged offensive, spears for crowd control, clubs for high throws, and knives for close-combat versatile killing.
- Harness Electricity: While it's certainly less potent than the past, traps can still provide zombies with some great agony. Repair them at their fullest.
- Understand Zombie AI: Artificial intelligence goes for the way of least resistance. Use this to your advantage by channeling them through constrictions, and then patch it with traps.
General Protection Planning Establish a Strong Base

- Emergency Exits: Plan for B, such as a roof or underground exit.

- Health and Fitness: Remain healthy and energy-filled; this will ensure maximum performance in case of an attack.
- Be warned: It is impossible to hide during the Blood Moon. Zombies always find a player.
- Keep in mind: The Blood Moon is an aggressive game. Prepared, flexible, and resourceful are the players that tend to stick.
