Throughout Hyrule, players of Echoes of Wisdom can enjoy several fun minigames. Another minigame involves Acorn Gathering, similar to the ones in Hyrule Ranch and the Gerudo Desert.
What sets this Echoes of Wisdom minigame apart is that it unfolds across five different locations. In each of these Acorn Gathering minigame locations, you'll have the opportunity to earn Rupees and - if you're the quickest - a present. All you have to do is collect acorns, but these methods on each course will always allow you to complete it well in advance.
Acorn Gathering Minigame Routes in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom?
Plaza at the East Crossing Acorn Gathering Site: Jabul Waters, east of Crossflow Plaza
- First send a Flying Tile southward to the pillar's first acorn.
- The second acorn is on top of a tree, and you'll need to use another flying tile sent diagonally southwest.
- Drop down onto the Lily Pad below to reach the third Acorn.
- For the fourth Acorn Surface, swim left and dive underneath. From there, swim right and spin quickly. Hop onto the lilypad to get the fifth Acorn.
- The sixth and final Acorn can be obtained by hopping towards the right.
Pacific Rim The Gathering of Hyrule Field Acorns
The location is north of Gerudo Desert and northwest of Hyrule Field.
Off the stone starting area, hop off and grab the first acorn.
- After having collected the second acorn on the right, head down the track. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth Acorns are collected by jumping onto the ledge at the bottom half of the course, and shimmying left. Jumping down will yield the seventh acorn, and the eighth can be obtained by ascending the central rock region.
- The ninth acorn is just left of the boulder, so jump off of it to retrieve. Continue up the right side to get the tenth acorn.
- Head straight ahead and jump over the rocks to get the eleventh acorn. Then leave this room and head right to find the twelfth acorn.
- To get the thirteenth, jump into the second boulder region; to get the fourteenth, jump out and head down.
- For the fifteenth, head along the left side of the screen, then spin-run to the far right.
- To make it across the first gap on the left, jump up the rough ledges and make use of a Flying Tile.
Move onto the sixteenth and last Acorn using a second extra Flying Tile on the second gap.
The Acorn Collection Area is situated north of Hyrule Castle. To reach this place in the Zelda minigame Acorn Collection you have to bridge a chasm.
- To get the first acorn jump to the wall on your right immediately.
- Get the second acorn by heading up the right wall; then, on the left, jump to bush for the third acorn.
- Climb back up the wall and jump on it again for the fourth acorn. As the wall curves left, follow it to get the fifth and sixth acorns.
- After the seventh acorn, obtained from on top of a bush, jump to the right toward the Northern Sanctum, then use a trampoline to reach your destination.
- After collecting the ninth acorn above the Sanctum, jump to your left and hop onto the wall to the left.
- On the wall, continue the East Kakariko Village Acorn Gathering, which you can obtain the ninth and tenth- and last- acorns.
Spotted southeast of the Eldin Volcano region, east of Kakariko Village?
- Head right to reach the first acorn.
- For the second acorn, summon a trampoline echo and jump onto the top of the tree.
- To collect the third acorn, follow the trees down to the bottom left, then call out a flying tile pointing left.
- To reach the fourth acorn in minimal time, take the flying tile. To get the fifth acorn, jump onto the ledge.
- Jump onto the leftmost ledge for the sixth acorn. Head right for the seventh acorn and jump onto the tree.
- Jump onto the tree to your left to get the eighth acorn. Then jump to your right, fall, and get the ninth acorn.
- Swim upwards and to the right to collect the tenth, then swim downwards and to the right to collect the eleventh and last.
Acorn Collecting at West Hyrule Castle
Location: west of Hyrule Castle
- This aquatic Acorn Collecting minigame is unique in that you can spin and swim at the same time using the Zora Flippers; this means you can make some fast moves.
- Jump in and right away take the two left acorns.
- Swim and turn to the right for the third, and then to the left for the fourth acorn.
- For the fifth and sixth acorns, dive down underwater and then swim up.
- Swim upwards quickly after obtaining the sixth acorn to get the seventh.
- For the eighth acorn, do a quick flip to the right, and the same for the ninth,
- Make sure the last one, the tenth acorn, goes upwards.
- Acorn Invocation to harness Whispers of Insight
- For clearing the Acorn Gathering minigame without running out of time in any field, Zelda gives a Red Rupee worth 20 Rupees. However, beating the time limit by about 20% of its maximum rewards you with a different Reward.
Minigame Acorn: Silver Rupee Reward at East Crossflow Plaza
- Prize for Minigame: Steel Trap on the Northwest Hyrule Field
- Prize: North Hyrule Castle- Golden Egg
- Kakariko Village's Acorn: Minigame reward. Heart Piece Acorn Minigame at West Hyrule Castle: Reward x3 Might Stones!
Unfortunately, there is no reward for completing all of the Acorn Gathering minigames under the time limit. You are going to want to get that Heart Piece for your troubles in Kakariko Village's Acorn Gathering minigame, first and foremost. Defeating the Steep Trap challenge will then be worth doing. The reward of a Silver Rupee, Might Stones, and a Golden Egg are alright, but hardly something to go after.
