In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Skyborn Might is a central combat resource that fuels your character's special abilities, including spells and unique weapon techniques. Unlike a traditional mana bar that slowly recharges or is restored by items, Skyborn Might is an active resource that you must generate through skilled combat.

Skyborn Might in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Explained

Skyborn Might is a resource bar that fills up as you perform specific combat actions. It acts as a pseudo-mana system, allowing you to use your most powerful attacks and spells. The gauge can hold multiple "stacks" or charges, and each ability you use will consume a certain number of these stacks.

How to Gain Skyborn Might

There are several methods for generating Skyborn Might, all of which reward skillful and aggressive gameplay:

  • Hitting Enemies and Resetting Combos: The most consistent way to gain Skyborn Might is by landing hits on enemies. After a certain number of successful strikes, you will gain a stack of Skyborn Might. To maximize this, it's beneficial to reset your combos. By pausing your attacks for a brief moment and then resuming, you can often generate stacks more efficiently than with a long, uninterrupted combo.
  • Shimmer (Perfect Dodge): Performing a Shimmer is one of the most effective and rewarding ways to generate Skyborn Might. A Shimmer is a perfect dodge, executed by pressing the dodge button just before an enemy's attack connects. A successful Shimmer is indicated by a small, green glow on your character. Not only does this action save you from damage, but it also provides a significant boost to your Skyborn Might, enabling you to retaliate with an ability.
  • Damage-Over-Time (DoT) Status Effects: Inflicting damage-over-time status effects, such as Burn, on an enemy will slowly regenerate Skyborn Might stacks. This is because the game registers each tick of DoT as a source of damage, gradually filling your gauge without you having to actively attack.
  • Skills and Weapons: Certain skills unlocked through the skill tree and specific weapons can passively generate Skyborn Might. These skills, often disciplines found in the Impetus Repository, can be purchased using a Red Mercury Essence (the game's version of a skill point). This allows you to create builds that are focused on Skyborn Might generation.
  • Increasing Capacity: You will initially start with a very limited number of Skyborn Might stacks. To increase your maximum capacity, you must unlock certain skills in your skill tree, which requires spending Red Mercury Essence. A larger capacity allows you to store more charges and use more powerful abilities.

Mastering the art of generating Skyborn Might is crucial for success in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. The fast-paced nature of boss fights often
