The central hub for all cosmetic and character changes is the dedicated Appearance menu, which is accessible right from the game interface.

Open the In-Game Menu: Press the designated menu button (typically Escape on PC or Start on console/the button in the upper-right corner of the screen).

Navigate to Appearance: Select the "Appearance" button located under the "Character" section.

This menu is the gateway to all things aesthetic, housing sections for hairstyles, outfits, makeup, ability effects, mounts, and even idle poses. Explore each section to find the cosmetic element you wish to modify.

While clothing and simple cosmetics are freely adjusted, making any significant structural change to your character's physical appearance—such as altering facial features, body shape, or bone structure—requires a specific, rare item.

The Water Lady Script

To access the deep character editor, you must consume one Water Lady Script.

Check Your Inventory: Open your bag and navigate to the Items section. The Water Lady Script, if you possess one, will be found here.

Activate the Editor: You can activate the script either by selecting it directly from your bag or by accessing the Appearance menu and clicking the "Appearance" button located at the bottom-left of the screen (often situated below the weapon display).

Making any change in this deep editor will consume one Water Lady Script. Be mindful that only structural changes consume the item; simple makeup or hairstyle swaps do not.

Dyeing Mechanics: Customizing Hair and Outfits

A powerful way to personalize your martial artist is by applying customdyes to both hair and clothing. This is handled within the Workshop section of the Appearance menu.

Hair Color Customization

Navigate to Dye: Go to the Appearance menu, select the "Workshop" section, and choose the "Dye" option.

Select Hairstyle: Select the specific hairstyle you wish to modify.

Choose a Dye Option: You have two options for coloring your hair:

• Basic Hair Dye: This option allows you to select from a spectrum of dull, muted, or dark colors. It requires the more accessible material, Inkshade Hair Dye, to apply.
• Advanced Hair Dye: This unlocks the full spectrum and brightness of colors, giving you maximum creative freedom. However, it requires the much rarer material, Timeless Hairdye.

Both dye types can be acquired by rolling at the in-game gacha banners, butTimeless Hairdye has a significantly smaller chance of dropping, makingthe advanced colors a mark of luck or investment.

Outfit and Armor Dyeing

The process for dyeing outfits is similar to hair:

Select Outfit: In the Workshop section, select the outfit or armor piece you wish to color instead of a hairstyle.

Dye Material: You can use the more common Softweave Dye Powder for muted or more basic color schemes, or the rarer, more expensive Rosycloud Dye Powder for elaborate and fancier colors.

Tip: You can save dye schemes even if you don't possess the required dye materials. This allows youto easily apply your pre-designed scheme immediately once you acquirethe necessary dye powder in the future.

The Ultimate Transformation: Changing Gender and Body Type

For a total overhaul that includes changing your character's body type and gender, you need a different, specialized item.

• The Item: A Transformation Pill is required for this ultimate change.
• Acquisition: The Transformation Pill can be purchased directly from the in-game shop for 1280 Echo Beads (the premium currency acquired through real-money top-ups).
• Effect: Using this pill provides a complete refresh of your character'sappearance, allowing you to re-enter the deep creation editor and select a different body type and gender. There appears to be no limit to howmany times you can perform this transformation, provided you have thenecessary premium currency.
