Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 (VTMB2) offers players a deeply branching narrative that culminates in six distinct endings, each reflecting a different political fate for the shattered city of Seattle. Your journey as the Elder Kindred, Phyre, is less about a linear plot and more about weaving a complex web of alliances, betrayals, and tactical decisions. The ruler of Seattle—or what remains of it—is determined entirely by the relationships you cultivate with the city’s major power players. Each unique conclusion unlocks a corresponding achievement:
A City in Flames, A City of Anarchy, A City Most Fabulous, A City Restored, A City Unchained, and A City of Kinship. To successfully shape Seattle's destiny, you must understand the key choices that guide you down each path.
Bloodlines 2: All Endings - How to get
The Catastrophic and Unpredictable Ends
These two endings are defined by extreme actions: one by reckless violence, the other by strategic disengagement.
Ending 1: A City in Flames (The Bad End)
This is the shortest and most destructive path, triggered by a single, critical decision near the game’s climax.
- The Key Choice: During the pivotal mission "We Don't Do Ghost Stories," you must choose to kill Agent Baker rather than embrace them as a vampire.
- The Result: This action locks you into the "bad" ending, regardless of all prior choices. The I.A.O. (Internal Affairs Organization) immediately resumes its attack on Seattle, resulting in widespreaddestruction and chaos. The city is plunged into literal pandemonium andfire, fulfilling the grim promise of the achievement.
Ending 3: A City Most Fabulous (The Quirky End)
This outcome installs Tolly as the improbable ruler of Seattle, transforming the city into a wild, unpredictable domain.
- The Path: This is achieved by intentionally distancing yourself from the primary political rivals. You must remain generally friendly with Lou, but maintain a hostile or neutral stance toward Katsumi and Ryong.
- The Final Step: You must refrain from declaring yourself the Prince of Seattle. By ensuring all major, capable competitors are neutralized, and by choosing to depart Seattle in the final act, Tolly is left as the only viable figure to step upand take charge, leading an unpredictable, quirky regime held togetherby sheer personality.
The Political Succession Ends
These endings see one of the three main faction leaders—Katsumi, Lou, orPhyre herself—seize power and attempt to reshape the city according totheir vision.
Ending 2: A City of Anarchy (Katsumi's Reign)
This result places Katsumi in charge, ushering in a rule forged in rebellion and chaos.
- The Path: You must maintain a generally positive relationship with Katsumi while adopting a neutral or antagonistic stance toward competitors like Lou and Ryong. Support her anarchist vision throughout the campaign.
- Key Choices:
- Align with Katsumi during missions like "Turning Down the Heat" and "The Coursing of the Rats."
- Provide Max or Benny to Katsumi when she asks.
- Embrace Agent Baker (make them a vampire) at the end of "We Don't Do Ghost Stories."
- Encourage the newly embraced Baker to command the I.A.O. troops out of Seattle.
- The Result: By maintaining her trust, Katsumi leads the Anarchs to victory, establishing a city defined by rebellion.
Ending 4: A City Restored (Lou Graham's Reign)
Lou Graham's rule represents a commitment to order and the Masquerade, striving to rebuild the city's old structure.
- The Path: You must consistently act in favor of Lou while actively eliminating rival ambitions.
- Key Choices:
- Help Lou on quests such as "Chains of Lead and Gold," "Taste of Description," and "Tome Alone."
- Be aggressively antagonistic toward Katsumi, Ryong, and Max whenever possible.
- During the final missions, tell Baker to lead the I.A.O. out of Seattle and confirm to Ryong that you will stay to stabilize the region.
- The Result: Lou takes the top spot, promising a return to stability and the illusion of order amidst the wreckage.
Ending 5: A City Unchained (Phyre's Reign)
This is the ultimate "power" ending, where your character, Phyre, rejects all rivals and becomes the undisputed Prince of Seattle.
- The Path: Adopt a generally hostile posture toward the other leaders. You must signal your unwavering intent to remain in Seattle and rule.Side with Lou only when it benefits your own rise, then be prepared tobetray her later.
- The Final Act (Crucial Dialogue):
- Tell Baker the I.A.O. should destroy the Anarchs.
- Tell Ryong that you will stay in Seattle.
- Tell Fabian, "I will be Prince."
- Reassure Tolly that you'll remain and take charge.
- The Result: By embracing your own authority and eliminating all contenders, Phyre rules over a city unbound and forever changed.
The Secret End: A City of Kinship
This highly personal and secret ending is considered the game's most stable conclusion, characterized by peace between the factions.
- The Path: This ending requires building deep, positive personal bonds with your companions throughout the game, preventing an all-out war between the city’s powers.
- Companion Focus: This route is facilitated by dedicating time to complete the personalside quests of your clan contacts, such as Silky Fetcher and Mrs. Thorn (a particularly convenient choice).
- The Dialogue Check: Once all side quests are completed and the final dialogue sequence begins, you must elicit positive reactions from key figures (like Mrs. Thorn) by honestly complimenting them and reinforcing your deep bond.
- Main Storyline Alignment: To ensure the proper conditions, follow a path that somewhat mirrors the Tolly ending but with specific final actions:
- Maintain a hostile stance toward Lou (Rou).
- Arrange for the Anarchs to be taken out by the I.A.O.
- Inform Fabien about your situation and make the choice to leave the city.
- The Result: Through diplomacy and personal connections, the factions maintainpeace, resulting in a stable city defined by kinship among the Kindred.
