1. Unlock Bill Rizer: This character becomes available through standard gameplay progression.
2. Evolve Long Gun (Bill Rizer) to Prototype A: Upgrading Bill Rizer's Long Gun to Prototype A unlocks Lance, an allied character.

Efficient Method:

1. Select Lance: Choose Lance as your playable character.
2. Stage Selection: Enter the Neo Galuga stage for its advantageous item placement.
3. Weapon Power-Up Acquisition: Locate and collect the grey Weapon Power-Up suitcase situated directly south of your starting position.
4. Bracer Acquisition: Proceed to the southwest corner of the map and retrieve the brown passive item satchel. Utilize this to acquire the Bracer passive item, crucial for the evolution process.
5. Short Gun Leveling: Focus on maximizing the level of the Short Gun during gameplay.
6. Boss Encounters and Chest Acquisition: Engage bosses to trigger chest drops. Opening these chests holds the key to evolving the Short Gun.

Evolution and Reward:
