Evolving the Short Gun to Prototype B


The Short Gun can be evolved into the more powerful Prototype B weapon by fulfilling specific requirements and leveraging strategic gameplay.

  • 1. Unlock Bill Rizer: This character becomes available through standard gameplay progression.
  • 2. Evolve Long Gun (Bill Rizer) to Prototype A: Upgrading Bill Rizer's Long Gun to Prototype A unlocks Lance, an allied character.

Efficient Method:


  • 1. Select Lance: Choose Lance as your playable character.
  • 2. Stage Selection: Enter the Neo Galuga stage for its advantageous item placement.
  • 3. Weapon Power-Up Acquisition: Locate and collect the grey Weapon Power-Up suitcase situated directly south of your starting position.
  • 4. Bracer Acquisition: Proceed to the southwest corner of the map and retrieve the brown passive item satchel. Utilize this to acquire the Bracer passive item, crucial for the evolution process.
