There are four different kinds of baits in Throne of Liberty, each with different advantages depending on what species you're trying to catch. Shrimp Bait

Source: Drop from Monsters Hermit Lobster, Hermit Crab, Chestacean, Iron Chestacean, Large Stone Crab, and Sea Crab. Effectiveness: It allows the capturing of small fish, and it is particularly ideal for catching sardines and minnows. Worm Bait Source: Gathered from Star Trees. Effectiveness: One of the baits that provide multiple purposes, which may be used to capture small or medium fish, including carp and trout. Fish Fillet Bait Source: Gained through exploration of the overworld, or alternatively through rewards from Fishing Sacks.
