How to Become a Fairy in The Sims 4

The Sims 4’s Enchanted by Nature expansion pack introduced one of the most highly requested occult life states—fairies! With their magical abilities, unique ranks, and stunning customization options, fairies bring a new level of enchantment to the game.
If you’ve ever wanted to turn your Sim into a mystical fairy, this guide will walk you through every step, from obtaining a Fairy Seedling to completing the transformation.

How to Get a Fairy Seedling in The Sims 4

Before your Sim can become a fairy, they’ll need a Fairy Seedling. There are four ways to acquire one:

1. Foraging for Fairy Seedlings

• Click on the ground and select “Forage Here.”
• Fairy Seedlings are rare, so foraging on a “Good Luck” day increases your chances.

2. Completing Fables (Quests)

• Visit a Fabulist (found in Innisgreen or other fairy-populated areas).
• Under the Friendly > Stories menu, select “Acquire a Fable.”
• Complete the quest to receive rewards, which may include a Fairy Seedling.
• If not, trade with the Fabulist under the Hobbies social menu.

3. Asking a Fairy for a Seedling

• Find a fairy (look for Sims with wings in Innisgreen).
• Befriend them, then ask “How to Become a Fairy” (found in the Fairy social menu).
• Once unlocked, select “Ask for a Fairy Seedling.”

4. Ordering a Fairy Seedling Online

• After learning about fairies, use a computer and go to Order > Purchase Fairy Seedling.
• Costs 300–800 Simoleons, making it the fastest method.
• Tip: Use a library computer if your household follows a natural lifestyle.

How to Turn Your Sim Into a Fairy

Once you have a Fairy Seedling, follow these steps:

Plant the Fairy Seedling

• Click on plantable terrain (grass, pots, garden patches) and select “Plant Fairy Seedling.”
• A warning will appear—confirm to summon Mother Nature.

Receive Mother Nature’s Charm

• Interact with Mother Nature and choose “Ask for Mother Nature’s Charm.”
• Your Sim will drink a potion, gaining the “Into the Fold” moodlet (lasts 24 hours).

Bathe in Moondrop Springs

• While the moodlet is active, visit Moondrop Springs and select “Bathe.”
• Your Sim will transform into a fairy!

Customize Your Fairy in CAS

• Enter Create-a-Sim (fulleditmode cheat if needed) to unlock exclusive fairy features:
  • Wing styles & colors
  • Glowing tattoos & markings
  • Enchanted accessories

How to Create a Fairy Sim from Scratch
