The Forest is a survival game that pits you directly against nature with the pre-requisite activities of hunting and gathering. Soon enough, you realize that the island is full of cannibals and mutants; Mother Nature is not the only adversary. In your struggle to survive, you will be fighting them in your base or when you head into the wilds.
The game equips the player with several weapons to defend themselves against the enemies. Considering the long-range weapons, the Bow is regarded as the best among them. But simply getting your hands on the Crafted Bow or the Modern Bow isn't sufficient; you'll need to craft Arrows to wield these weapons. In this guide, we will go into full detail on how to craft Arrows in The Forest so you can hunt or battle foes from a distance.
Arrows are a type of ammunition used both by the Crafted Bow and by the Modern Bow. In-game, they are classified as Projectile Weapons. In any case, you cannot use Arrows on their own as a weapon; whereas the Sticks that you will find surrounding you can. That makes it almost useless unless you happen to already have an Inventory item known as the Crafted Bow.
Later in the game, however, mutants will pop up and begin demolishing your health meter. Stockpile some Arrows and Crafted Bows to take them out from afar - or from atop high ground. You'll be able to hunt with Arrows, too.
One strike is enough to take down most beasts.
In The Forest, you may craft five types of Arrows, each one of them with a lot of different effects, and different amount of resources taken to craft. Open your Inventory and combine the ingredients to craft Arrows. All the different types of arrows you're able to craft in The Forest have their own recipe:
Arrow Format - Making Supplies - Directional arrows
bone arrows.
Exploding Arrows
In the package are four kinds of berries: twin, snow, amanita, and jack.
For giving light to your fire arrows in The Forest, you can make a Standing Fire.
Arrows are pretty easy to craft, but of course, your bag can only hold just so many of these. You'll want to have a good stock of Arrows on hand at any given time because they'll dissipate rather rapidly; this becomes especially true as you're exploring into one of the Forest's hanging caverns. Later in the game, cannibal and mutant attacks will be a bit more frequent, so it is prudent to have arrows ready and waiting in your base of operation for your defense.
To have Arrows in your base, you'll have to make an Arrow Basket using 25 sticks. The quiver is a creation made out of rabbit fur and rope, used to upgrade the carrying number of arrows from 30 to 50.
As one can see, Arrows are not hard to craft in The Forest, from the resources needed. You probably get most of them while adventuring.
Now that you know How to Make Arrows in The Forest, apply this guide and continue enjoying the game.
