Today we bring you an explanatory guide on How To Get Luna in The First Descendant with precise details.
Luna joins the fray in The First Descendant. Wondering what kind of abilities she may possess? How about we consider how you can unlock this new character and try her out for some unique gameplay?
How To Get Luna in The First Descendant
Luna is certainly one of the very few unique characters whose gameplay centers on a rather enthralling entertainment theme. Gamers have to collect all her components to learn the in-depth aspects of her character and to further strengthen her character by practicing with Anais in Albion. Hereby, this guide has been crafted to assist both new and old players within the game. If you are one of the returning gamers, then start by referring to the detailed material tables at the bottom.
To make the Luna outfit, you will need the following blueprints and resources. However, the code for Luna is different since it is dropped directly by Amorphous Materials, not requiring any extra blueprints. The Luna Code is the base blueprint for the whole Luna suit. These materials drop from specific missions that yield Amorphous Materials. In turn, these are opened with Reconstructed Devices, which are obtained after defeating linked boss encounters or by engaging with a Void Fusion Reactor. The following tables will give you a good view of what you need, from whence it comes, and the relevant boss fights.
All Luna Amorphous Materials
The whole Luna farm is becoming way more homogeneous than I had thought. Its challenge is way more than I had presumed.
- Source and Linked Void Intercept Blueprint: Acquired from opening the Amorphous Material Pattern: 017-Mutant AA. Guaranteed drop upon completion of the Shelter mission in Timberfall, Vespers. The blueprint activates at the Executioner Void Intercept boss fight.
- Luna Enhanced Cells Blueprint: Requires Amorphous Material Pattern: 020-Mutant AA, which has a 5–20% chance to drop from the Vulgus Strategic Outpost mission in Muskeg Swamp, Echo Swamp. Activate the blueprint at the Muskeg Swamp Void Fusion Reactor.
- Lunar Spiral Catalyst Blueprint: Obtained from the Amorphous Material Pattern: 015-Mutant AA. Dropped with a 15% chance from the Vulgus Strategic Outpost mission, Moonlight Lake, Vespers. Activate at the Void Fusion Reactor in Moonlight Lake.
- Luna Code: Unlocked by receiving pattern Amorphous Material Pattern: 027-Mutant AA, which has a drop chance of 20% from the mission Vulgus Strategic Outpost in Storage, Agna Desert. Activate at the Void Fusion Reactor in The Storage, Agna Desert.
For crafting Luna after getting all of her blueprints, you will need to gather certain resources to be able to make her parts.
Core Components
- Luna Enhanced Cells: Silicon, Carbon Crystal, and Pure Energy Residue are combined to build this base component. Construction is accomplished with the help of a dedicated blueprint.
- Luna Stabilizer: Flectorite, Hellion, and Highly-Concentrated Energy Residue combine to form the Stabilizer. Creation requires, like the Enhanced Cells, a specific blueprint for assembly.
- Luna Spiral Catalyst: This requires a specialized mix of Superfluid, Hardener, and Specialized Biometal. Its construction process is also rigorously specified in a blueprint.
Luna Code
This component doesn't need to be built or manufactured like the rest of the components. It is gained in another way and serves a different purpose when using the Luna system. Essentially, the making of Luna Parts requires resources to be gathered on specification, in accordance with detailed blueprints that could further include other means of acquisition. This is an intricate assembly necessary for the general functionality of the Luna system. Given below are the exact locations for farming all of the above resources.
Material Farming Locations
Common Materials
Due to this, most of their time will be used to explore various environments within the game. Resource and Munitions boxes are common containers containing various materials and have a white chevron when scanned.
- Silicon: This base element can be collected in the swamp ground found in the Echo Swamp.
- Carbon Crystal: Find it in the hostile terrain that is Hagios.
- Flectorite: This resource is mainly found in the areas of White-night Gulch.
- Hellion: Hellion is yet another resource which players can acquire from the challenging landscape of Fortress.
- Hardener: This solid material is derived from Vespers.
Energy-Based Resources
The energy-based materials are to be treated differently.
- Pure Energy Residue: The residue, a strong resource, is gained as a result of defeating the Encrypted Vaults in the dangerous area of Fortress.
- Highly-Concentrated Energy Residue: Refined energy which can only be found in Encrypted Vaults within Hagios.
Fluid Resource
- Superfluid: This special liquid can be gotten from defeating Resource Boxes or opening Munitions Boxes in the sterile barren Sterile Lands.
Specialized Biometal
Specialized Biometal is a particular type of material that cannot be found through conventional looting. To earn this one, one has to prove oneself in combat against certain kinds of enemies. This resource is granted only upon victory over the enemies on Dune Base and Forward Base Vulgus Strategic Outpost missions.
Now, your hunt for Luna really begins as you go back to Anais, who is in Albion. Equipped with the basic resources and designs, it's time to plunge into an extended process: researching each of Luna's fragments. As you might have guessed, every piece requires a serious amount of time and resources: eight hours of research and 200,000 Gold. To speed up the process, you can research several components simultaneously, as long as there are free research slots available.
By the time you finish this painful creation of components, eight hours will have passed. Return to Anais one last time and undertake the final research into the development of Luna. This last research is the most excruciating, taking sixteen hours and an additional 400,000 Gold. At the successful completion of this research, mighty Luna will join your prestigious array of Descendants in The First Descendant.
Finally, now that we have what we need to Get Luna in The First Descendant, we just have to do it to get the most out of this element of the game.
