Where to find U3-09 Security Keycard in Starfield

Starfield is an exciting game that offers players a vast and immersive universe to explore. With its main story missions and side quests, players are constantly faced with challenges and obstacles that must be overcome. One such quest is the Groundpounder quest, which requires players to clear a group of Spacers near the Freestar Collective Research Outpost on Altair II. To progress through this quest, players must obtain two keycards: the U3-09 Security Keycard given by Sergeant Dasari and the U3-09 Facility Keycard available from a soldier next to the doctor. Unfortunately, the game doesn't provide clear instructions on these steps, leading to confusion among players. To begin with, follow these steps to get your hands on the U3-09 Security Keycard:

The first step in obtaining the U3-09 Security Keycard is to locate Sergeant Dasari within the Freestar Collective Research Outpost on Altair II. Sergeant Dasari can usually be found near the central area of the outpost. Approach him and engage in conversation.

During your conversation with Sergeant Dasari, kindly ask him for the U3-09 Security Keycard. Be polite and make sure to express your need for the keycard to progress through the Groundpounder quest.

Once you've requested it, Sergeant Dasari will provide you with the U3-09 Security Keycard. Make sure to thank him for his assistance before moving on to the next step.

After obtaining the U3-09 Security Keycard, it's time to acquire the second keycard:

Exit the Freestar Collective Research Outpost and head towards the Altair II facility. Look for a soldier positioned next to a doctor outside the facility. The soldier can usually be found near the entrance.

Once you've located the soldier, walk up to him and initiate interaction. This will prompt a conversation between your character and the soldier.

During the conversation, politely request the U3-09 Facility Keycard from the soldier. Explain that you need it to progress through the Groundpounder quest and that Sergeant Dasari has already provided you with the U3-09 Security Keycard.

Upon your request, the soldier will hand over the U3-09 Facility Keycard. Make sure to express your gratitude before continuing on your quest.

Now that you have both keycards, it's time to progress through the Groundpounder quest:

With both keycards in your possession, proceed towards the Comms Center. Attempt to enter the facility by interacting with the door.

If the game doesn't allow you to enter the Comms Center, it means there are still Spacers left to defeat. Search the area surrounding the facility for any remaining Spacers and eliminate them. This will ensure that there are no obstacles preventing you from progressing further.

After clearing all remaining Spacers, approach Lezama, who should be waiting near the entrance of the Comms Center. Engage in conversation with him to proceed with the quest.

With all obstacles cleared and after speaking to Lezama, he will open the door to the Comms Center for you. This will allow you to continue your quest and explore the next phase of the Groundpounder quest.
