How To Get The Slice Kit Upgrade in Star Wars Outlaws?

Part of hacking and puzzle-solving with Star Wars Outlaws involves getting the Slice Kit upgrade, which comes with completing the intel for The Slicer and earning the base Slicer Kit. This upgrade greatly increases the Kit's power and provides two energy points. Extra energy can be used to activate the Jokers, as this piece can be set anywhere in the puzzle and will solve it in an easier way.

Obtaining the Slice Kit upgrade requires three components: a Code Breaker Chip, eight Chalcopyrite, and three Direct-Energy Circuits. Chalcopyrite is one of the more common minerals found throughout the galaxy. Entering planets and looting different objects can easily yield this. However, the rarity of Direct-Energy Circuits sits a little higher. These may be obtained upon exploration in faction-controlled areas or when bought from scavenger merchants.

The Chip Code Breaker is a bit trickier; it has only one location and involves much searching and fighting in order to get your hands on it. This important thing will have to be picked up by venturing into some sort of hidden area or by doing some sort of challenging task.

Code Breaker Chip

Deep in the southeastern region of Toshara lies the Chip Code Breaker, spanning an expanse of area bordering The Lost Steppe-a very hazardous area. The place is highly fortified by the syndicate, making it a really hard test for any adventurer who would wish to lay his hands on such a wanted chip.

To get there, you have to climb the wall left of the big open tent. There's a hazardous route to where the chip is, leading you to a well-hidden cave that works as the secret base of the syndicate. You'll have to go through the cave, clearing rooms full of hostile guards.

A sealed door on the top floor conceals the route to the treasure. Upon breaking the door open, one enters a new room containing not only the Shipjacker Workshop treasure but also that evasive chip, the Code Breaker. The chip is stored for safekeeping in a container, awaiting any player who would like to find it.

Kit Slice: A word of warning-the upgrade to this, which greatly increases its energy capacity, requires all materials to be found and the Abilities menu to be accessed. This is a very important upgrade that will be required to slice more complex locks and to progress further on.
