Where to Find the Drowned Assault Rifle in Stalker 2

Where to Find the Drowned Assault Rifle
As a matter of fact, the Drowned is idling away. Once you've completed the Behind Seven Seals quest, you'll be able to reach the Garbage zone, where it can be found outside the Slag Heap. The Drowned can be obtained simply by picking it up. In the pond to the south of the Slag Heap, it is propped up on a piece of concrete. Upon arrival, you should see another Stalker called Boo pleading for assistance; it is located close to the gravel road that leads to the Loner town.
Boo claims to have dropped his rifle by accident and is hence the legitimate owner of the Drowned. His affection for his gun is evident, but it doesn't appear to be strong enough to motivate him to go the short distance to get it. He will ask you to get the gun for him if you speak to him before you take it. Boo will demand that you return the rifle if you took it before approaching him. It is unclear if returning the Drowned to him has any long-term effects, and as doing so would not yield any immediate benefits, you are better off keeping the rifle for yourself.
The Drowned will be in terrible shape when you get it, but that shouldn't be a problem if you're good at making money in Stalker 2 or have a spare stash of cash to fix it.
How Does The Drowned Fare?
The Drowned is an assault rifle with a grenade launcher that is a modified AKM-74S. The second group makes use of VOG-25 grenades, which are quite rare in this area. You can't always rely on a store to have them in stock.
The Drowned's taped magazines are one of the more intriguing upgrades compared to other AKM-74S rifles. Skif doesn't just throw out the old magazine and put the new one on; he turns the magazines inside out and puts the one with fresh ammunition in it.
