How to Upgrade Farmhouse in Fields of Mistria?
In Fields of Mistria, visit the Carpenter's Shop on The Eastern Road to improve your farmhouse. It may be found on Eastern Road's northwest corner. To access the menu that includes Shop, Home Upgrade, and Farm Expansion—which is not available in Early Access at the moment—interact with the sign on the front desk. The necessary items and their respective costs will be displayed when you choose Home Upgrade.
No, you can't skip ahead to Home Upgrade 3 from Home Upgrade 1. It is necessary to perform each upgrade independently.

House Upgrades
Upgrade #1:
- Cost: 5000 Tesserae, 500 Wood, 500 Stone
- Benefit: Expands the main room of your farmhouse.
Upgrade #2:
- Cost: 15000 Tesserae, 500 Wood, 500 Stone, 20 Iron Ingots
- Benefit: Adds the "Western Wing" to your farmhouse.
Upgrade #3:
- Cost: 25000 Tesserae, 500 Wood, 500 Stone, 20 Silver Ingots
- Benefit: Adds the "Eastern Wing" to your farmhouse.
Locating Farming Supplies
Cutting down trees, chopping up branches, or smashing rocks and boulders in the mines will yield Wood and Stone almost anywhere in Mistria. You should definitely invest in better tools because House Upgrades demand a lot of materials. To begin, visit the blacksmith to acquire the silver pickaxe and axe, or improve your blacksmithing skill to make them yourself. To craft silver tools, you'll need silver ore, and you can make one silver ingot from 10 pieces of ore.
Buying Wood and Stone from the Carpenter's Shop is a faster but more expensive alternative to farming them. Twenty Tesserae is the price for each substance.
Metallic Iron Barrel
You can obtain Iron Ingot for House Upgrade #2 by melting ten Iron Ore at the Blacksmith's House anvil.
- The Ironclod monsters in the Tide Caverns (21-39) of the mines can be approached to obtain Iron Ore.
- The Tide Caverns are another place to find Iron Nodes. If you break one of them, you can harvest some Iron Ore.
- The Blacksmith sells Iron Ore for 50 Tesserae.
Coin made of silver
- For the third house upgrade, you'll need to process ten silver ore pieces at the anvil to create silver ingot.
- Silver Nodes on Deep Earth (41–59) levels of the mines can be mined for Silver Ore. One more method to farm Silver Ore is to defeat Silverclods.
- For 100 Tesserae, you can purchase Silver Ore from the Blacksmith.
Gaining access to specific abilities and perks from the dragon statue at the Mines Entrance can boost the ore drop rate from nodes and foes.

Farmhouse Upgrade Timing
The initial house upgrade should be completed in the spring of the first year. You should focus on constructing bigger barns and coops for your livestock and keep House Upgrades 2 and 3 for later.
