Slitterhead: All Rarity Mask Locations

Masks for Every Laid-Away Parasite (2nd Loop)

To acquire a Mask in Slitterhead, we must first complete the Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop) assignment. At the beginning of the quest, use Blood Jump to go to the rooftop. From there, hunt for the dumpster to advance the mission. Stroll past the dumpster and down onto the other rooftop directly below it before you search it.

Keep descending until you come to a fence; then, turn left to see another rooftop, and at the far end of that rooftop, you'll see a Shrine. To bring the Shrine Guardian "Rat" Slitterhead into the arena, you must ascend to the rooftop, engage with the Shrine, and then summon him.

You can get the Genbu Opera Mask for Julee by defeating the Shrine Guardian "Rat" Slitterhead. It will be one of several additions to her Wardrobe tab in the main menu.

No Rest for the Weary (2nd Loop) Masks

Possibly the most difficult assignment, Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop), is up next. Following the standard path through the mission, get to the elevator and ride it to the next level. Upon stepping out of the elevator, take a left turn rather than a right, and go down the corridor to reach the boiler room.

In the boiler room, you can find a shrine on the far right end. You can call upon the Shrine Guardian "Ox" Slitterhead by interacting with it. To make this battle much easier, you can head right first, fight the Slitterheads, and then have your Rarities spawn first. Be ready for a rough battle, though.

The Beige Face Mask for Anita can be yours when you vanquish the obnoxious Shrine Guardian "Ox" Slitterhead. Having put her through all that turmoil, she deserves this thing!

Two-Loop Recap of Missing Girl Next up comes the much easier to obtain Masks Missing Girl RE (2nd Loop), which is in the same line as the others. To obtain this mask, continue with the mission as usual until you meet your first Blacktip Mantidfly Slitterhead boss encounter while possessing Anita.

Pay close attention to the Slitterhead's underbelly once you get here. The dangling body, in particular, it is only loosely fastened to the massive Slitterhead. If you hit it hard enough, it will fall off the Slitterhead. So, you need concentrate on that area until it happens.

If you want to land many shots on the dangling body of the Slitterhead, you'll need to constantly hop to civilians and Rarities behind it to gain free shots. Occasionally, this will stagger it.

Anita can acquire the Black Face Mask by dissecting the Blacktip Mantidfly Slitterhead, which gives her another mask to wear whenever she wants!

The Third Loop for the Entire Ghost Family Face coverings 

Similar circumstances can be found in Ghost Family RE RE (3rd Loop), where you are required to complete the quest until you encounter two Slitterheads. Focus on a single one and strike the dangling corpse to retrieve the Mask; you only need to destroy one of their bodies.

Get to the part of the mission when you're told to "Follow Lisa's presence," and then head toward the main street. To reach the club, start here and climb the main stairs; from there, turn left and continue along this path.

A staircase leading to the overpass will be visible to you after some time. You can see a dog if you descend these stairs and look to your right. Take control of the canine and dash beneath the debris pile in front of it. Proceed along the trail that leads to an open alleyway, where you'll see the Shrine propped against a wall.

You can locate the Shrine Guardian "Horse" Slitterhead by interacting with the Shrine while you have a human in the vicinity. Just follow the waypoint. After your Rarities have spawned, this encounter becomes much easier to handle.

In order to obtain the White Helmet which goes well with his Lab Coat costume Alex must defeat the Shrine Guardian "Horse" Slitterhead.

Masks with a Black Payback REV design (mirror)

Entering the overpass close to the western end of the main street will lead you to another Shrine-based Mask called Black Payback REV (Mirror). As you ascend the stairs leading to the overpass, look to your right; the Shrine will be perched on the wall opposite the steps.

A collection of smaller Slitterheads and a couple of normal ones make up the Shrine Guardian "Rooster," which can be summoned by interaction with the Shrine. Because the arena is so small, this confrontation is particularly difficult. Put your greatest Rarities to the test and don't mess around with this one!

Blake will be able to obtain the Guy Fawkes Mask when he manages to survive the hordes of Shrine Guardian "Rooster" Slitterheads. To put it mildly, it was an intriguing piece of clothing to add to his wardrobe.

Next up is another rather easy mission: finding all of the Ghost Family REV (Mirror) masks. Carry on with the quest normally up until you're prompted to 'Pursue Alex and the daughter.' Do not follow the game's instructions to the letter; instead, turn left and then take a sharp left into an alley.

As you turn right, you'll see the Shrine propped against a garage door. For the Shrine Guardian "Pig" Slitterhead to appear, you must interact with it. There are a lot of powerful attacks in this fight, so be prepared. It becomes more bearable after your second Rarity appears. To win, you need to heal often, use your skills often, and switch rarities often.

The Suzaku Opera Mask, an addition to Julee's already extensive Wardrobe, can be hers by defeating the Shrine Guardian "Pig" Slitterhead.

Every Bind Break Face Mask

Lastly, the Bind Break assignment is straightforward. Lucky for us. Once you encounter the Weedy Stingfish Slitterhead, continue with the objective as usual. Pay close attention to the body that is dangling from its rear. From past Masks and even Outfits, you know the drill.

Don't back down; use your Skills and heavy assaults on the dangling body alone to knock the Slitterhead to the ground. After it's shocked, you can continue to hit it until it pops off. To get your prize, just finish the mission like you normally would.

Alex can acquire the Blue Helmet, one of the more attractive items in his collection, by hacking the dangling body off the Weedy Stingfish Slitterhead.

Bind Breaks has one additional Mask that can be obtained, but its method of acquisition remains a mystery. When we get it, we will update this guide to show you how to get it.
