Today we bring you an explanatory guide on How to use Recon Combat Speciality in Black Ops 6.

As you delve deeper into the incredible world that Black Ops 6 presents to you, you will encounter a wealth of mechanics that will make your gaming experience more exciting and, of course, fun. One of these mechanics is the Recon Combat Specialty, which gives you a significant advantage on the battlefield by allowing you to observe your enemies through walls for a short period of time after respawning.

This important indicator will hide the skulls of defeated enemies while highlighting others in red. You should keep in mind that, while this advantage turns out to be quite effective when facing sneaky campers who try to hide as best they can, they act as a wallhack and, therefore, tend to expose enemy movements. It is for this and more, that we bring you an explanatory guide with all the information you need to know about it so that you can use it, so, keep reading and join us.

How to use Recon Combat Speciality

Understanding Combat Specialties:

Black Ops 6 Combat Specialties are activated when a specific combination of Perks are equipped within your Custom Loadout. Overall, each of the Perk Slots (1, 2, and 3) corresponds to a specific color: Red, Blue, or Green. When three Perks of the same color are equipped, the respective Combat Specialty is activated.

Equipping the Recon Combat Speciality:

The Recon Combat Speciality is activated when three Blue Perks are equipped within your Custom Loadout. The following are the Blue Perks that are available:

  • Perk 1: Ghost, Ninja
  • Perk 2: Engineer, Tracker, Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Vigilance, Cold-Blooded

Any combination of three Blue Perks listed here will unlock the Recon Combat Speciality.

Maximizing Recon Potential:

The Recon Combat Speciality can give you a slight tactical advantage in terms of wallhack abilities for some time after respawning. That means you'll be able to see all sorts of enemies that are around you, which protects you from any sort of camper surprise.

Choosing Blue Perks:

You can further complete your Recon loadout with the following Blue Perks:

  • Ghost:  Invisible to enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, great for sneaking up on people.
  • Tracker: The major enemy footprints are highlighted, hence easy to track.
  • Engineer: It allows you to see the enemy equipment through walls for effective counter deployable and to attain tactical advantage scores. On a final note, balance updates may sometimes change how Perks and Combat Specialties work. Just check out an official patch note or a source from trusted gaming for recent updates on this regard.

This is all you need to know about How to use Recon Combat Speciality in Black Ops 6, following this guide will surely make it much easier for you to use this important mechanic that will undoubtedly offer you a significant advantage over your enemies.
