Once you’ve found the CC you want to add to your game, you’ll need to download the ZIP or RAR archive for the content. Once you’ve downloaded the archive, you’ll need to extract the files from it. This can be done using a program like 7-Zip or WinRAR.

Placing the CC in the Mods Folder

Once you’ve extracted the CC files from the downloaded archive, you’ll need to place them in the Mods folder for The Sims 4. The location of the Mods folder will depend on whether you’re playing on PC or Mac.

  • For PC users, the Mods folder is located in: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
  • For Mac users, the Mods folder is located in: Library/Containers/com.electronicarts.sims4/Data/Mod

Enabling Mods in-Game

Once you’ve placed the CC files in the Mods folder, you’ll need to enable mods in-game. To do this, open The Sims 4 and go to the Options menu. From there, go to the Other tab and check the box for “Enable Custom Content and Mods.”

Adding custom content to The Sims 4 is a great way to enhance your gaming experience and make the game even more immersive. While it may seem a bit daunting at first, the process is actually quite simple. All you need to do is find the CC you want, download and extract the files, place them in the Mods folder, and enable mods in-game. With just a few steps, you’ll be able to add tons of custom content to your Sims 4 game.
