Objective: The Basement Key
As James and Maria explore Brookhaven Hospital, a cabinet in the reception area appears locked. Inside this cabinet is the key to the basement. This item is required as one continues to progress in the level of the hospital.
Solution:
- 1. Document Retrieval: Perform a thorough search of the accessible areas in the hospital for a document labeled "Key Locker Note." This document will relate to using the key locker with Exam Room 3. James will mark this room with a question mark on the in-game map.
- 2. Optional: Exam Room 3 Entrance** Not necessary, but entering Exam Room 3-breaking an adjacent window, for example-will result in a picked up document called "Nurse's Memo." The memo contains a cryptic message referring to the combination on the cabinet.
- 3. Environmental Clues: In the reception area, there are three strategically placed pictures hanging on the walls. These three pictures depict specific quantities of relevant subjects: nurses, doctors, and trees.
- 4. Combination Deciphering: Look closely at the images for a count of how many of each subject is present. Taking these quantities and adding them provides the combination for the cabinet lock. Example-if there are seven nurses, two doctors, and four trees shown, then the combination would be 7 + 2 + 4 = 13.
