You can arm yourself with a variety of handy weapons in Silent Hill 2 Remake and fearlessly confront the eerie creatures that roam the area. We have included their positions on the map and listed them all for your convenience. Then, let's get down to brass tacks!
How to Find All Weapons in Silent Hill 2 Remake
While you can equip all eight weapons in Silent Hill 2, the initial playthrough grants you access to just six. Keep reading to discover out about every weapon in the game, how to unlock them, where to find them, and how to use their skills to your advantage. Come on, let's dive in!
Fighting Weapons
Timber Board
A plank of wood fastened at one end with nails. Simple to use, yet lacking in power. The primary tool at James' disposal. Useful only at very close range, as it only deals light damage.
Found in the East South Vale cutscene that plays out at the beginning of the game.
Steel Tube
A steel pipe that is three feet in length. Decent range, not particularly damaging. As soon as you get your hands on the Steel Pipe, you should swap out the Wooden Plank for it.
Upon exiting Rosewater Park, proceed to the Texxon Gas Station on Nathan Avenue in West South Vale. Once inside the running automobile, look under the hood.
Excellent Blade
Pyramid Head swung a massive weapon. Dangerous, but difficult to use. The weapon is cumbersome to carry around at all times and has limited combat utility. This weapon, when coupled with Hyper Spray, allows James to unleash the game's most devastating strike.
Where: In the Labyrinth, on the table in the middle of Pyramid Head's lair.
Handsaw Handsaw powered by gas. Superior offensive capabilities. Unlocked upon first successful completion of the game. This weapon is great with Hyper Spray because it takes a while to start when used.
Find the chainsaw in a New Game Plus by stabbing it into the stacked logs in East South Vale, just behind the cemetery, across from the Silent Hill Ranch.
You can utilize Hyper Spray to freeze your adversaries for around 10 seconds. With each use, James takes some damage. Green spray is the most deadly since it instantly kills foes upon contact, although the damage it does depends on the color of the spray.
When you're ready to play New Game Plus, you'll find it on the table inside the camper trailer on the south side of the intersection of Saul and Harris Street in East South Vale.
Method for Unlocking: Can be unlocked after an initial playthrough or after three. If you want to get every color, you'll need to beat the game three times on any difficulty, or twice on Hard Action Level.
Firearms
Armed firearm
Holds up to ten rounds. Compact handgun. Simple to operate, but lacks significant stopping strength. In order for James to see it and retrieve it, he must possess the flashlight. It is one of the game's most dependable weapons.
Room 301 at Wood Side Apartments is where you can find it in the shopping basket.
Leverage weapon
Six shots is the maximum capacity. Difficult to control, but effective against groups of enemies. The Shotgun may be sluggish on easier combat settings, but it may kill more adversaries with a greater burst of damage. The shotgun's blast becomes increasingly concentrated as you draw nearer to the target.
The item can be located in the open locker on the second floor of the Women's Locker Room at Brookhaven Hospital.
Assault Rifle
Maximum number of shots: four. Each shot is powerful, but there's a significant delay between them. The Hunting Rifle, like the Shotgun, has a sluggish attack speed but deals a lot of damage from a greater distance and with higher precision; thus, it is best saved for boss fights.
Where: In the Toluca Prison armory, near the warden's office, perched on the rifle rack.
An Unexpected Origin Story
A revolver may hold a maximum of ten bullets. Simple to operate, but lacks strength. The one and only weapon in the scenario; it's a little stronger and more efficient than the main scenario's Handgun.
At the outset of the scenario, Maria is carrying it.
Chinese cleaver, a knife with a square blade. Ugly, yet effective and user-friendly. The scenario's sole melee weapon, which is also a lot of fun to wield. Has the ability to do damage both when stationary and when attacking while running.
In conclusion, knowing How to Find All Weapons in Silent Hill 2 Remake is interesting because it allows us to improve our fun and progress with these necessary elements of the game.
