Where to find Dragon Tooth in RS: Dragonwilds
During the Dragon Slayer Primary Quest, you will receive the Challenge Horn recipe from the spirit Cathan, located near the entrance to the General Velgar boss fight. Cathan will provide a hint regarding the Dragon Tooth's location, but the initial instructions are intentionally vague. Furthermore, the quest marker's large radius can make pinpointing the exact spot a significant challenge. To narrow your search effectively, head to the southwest area of the Stormtouched Highlands.Before venturing into this treacherous region, thorough preparation is highly recommended. This includes acquiring an Iron Pickaxe and establishing a Lodestone nearby. While not strictly mandatory, these two items will significantly streamline and improve the manageability of this entire process. The Iron Pickaxe possesses the necessary strength to mine the Dragon Tooth from its resting place. To craft an Iron Pickaxe, you will first need to gather Iron Bars, Blightwood, and Hard Leather. If you already possess an Iron Pickaxe, you can alternatively opt to use the Rocksplosion spell to extract the Dragon Tooth.For your Lodestone, it is wise to set it at the southern edge of the Stormtouched Highlands. This will serve as a crucial safety net should your expedition take aturn for the worse – and in this area, dangers are frequent. Thevicinity of the Dragon Tooth is teeming with hostile creatures, andhaving a quick escape route can be the difference between success and acostly death.
Once you are adequately prepared to brave the perilous Stormtouched Highlands, your primary objective is to locate an enormous dragon skull. The Dragon Tooth will be embedded within this skeletal giant. You can either mine the tooth using your Iron Pickaxe or utilize the Rocksplosion spell to cause an explosion and collect the crucial item for the Challenge Horn recipe.
Be aware that an enemy base camp is situated near this massive skull. However, with a degree of stealthand careful movement, you might be able to slip past the hostileinhabitants without engaging them.
