As you progress through your adventures in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you'll eventually reach a point where your trusty stone tools begin to feel inadequate. To effectively combat tougher foes and gather rarer resources, you'll need to upgrade your equipment to the Bronze Tier. This requires two essential ores: Copper and Tin. While these are considered mid-game resources, requiring some exploration to locate, the rewards of stronger gear are well worth the effort. If you're ready to move beyond stone and forge ahead, here's your guide on how to find Copper and Tin in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
Early in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you'll likely become familiar with the resources available in your starting area. However, to find significant deposits of Copper and Tin ore, you'll need to venture to a new location. The primary area where you can find a substantial amount of both desired ores is the Fractured Plains, located to the north of the Whispering Swamp.
Be warned: The Fractured Plains are known to be heavily populated by goblins. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you prepare yourself adequately before venturing into this region. Ensure you have decent weaponry, some healing supplies, and perhaps even some basic armor to withstand their attacks.
Despite the inherent risks, the Fractured Plains are the most reliable location to find Copper and Tin ore in large quantities. You'll be able to easily identify these ores by their distinct colors: Copper ore has an orange hue, while Tin ore exhibits a yellow-green color. Keep your eyes peeled for these vibrant deposits as you explore the Fractured Plains.
Once you've successfully mined a good amount of both Copper and Tin ore, the next step is to combine them to create Bronze ingots. This process requires a Furnace, which you'll need to build at your base using the following materials:
After gathering these materials, interact with your building interface and construct the Furnace at a suitable location within your base.
To smelt Bronze ingots, interact with the completed Furnace. You will need to place both Copper and Tin ore inside. The crafting recipe for one Bronze ingot requires 3 pieces of Copper ore and 3 pieces of Tin ore.
With a steady supply of Bronze ingots, you'll be able to craft a significant upgrade to your equipment: a full Bronze armor set. This armor will provide much-needed protection, making the exploration of new, more dangerous locations and engaging in tougher battles considerably easier. Here are the crafting recipes for the individual pieces of the Bronze armor set:
Embark on your journey to the Fractured Plains, brave the goblin threat, and mine the valuable Copper and Tin ore. With these resources and your newly built Furnace, you'll be well on your way to forging powerful Bronze equipment that will significantly enhance your capabilities in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Happy mining and crafting!
