Step 1: Locating the Bloodwood Tree

The Bloodwood Sap can only be obtained from the Bloodwood Tree, a massive red-leaved tree deep within the Bloodblight Swamp.

How to Get There:

Start at the Fractured Plains entrance of the swamp.

Head south until you reach a broken bridge.

Cross the bridge to enter a large enemy camp.

In the center of the camp, you’ll find the towering Bloodwood Tree, with glowing red sap at its base.

⚠️ Warning: The swamp’s toxic environment will rapidly drain your health if you’re unprepared.

Step 2: Surviving the Bloodblight Swamp – Antipoison Potions

The swamp’s air is poisonous, meaning you’ll need Antipoison Potions to survive. Each dose lasts 300 seconds (5 minutes), so bring multiple potions for extended exploration.

How to Craft Antipoison Potions:

Ingredients Needed:

• Harralander (found in the Whispering Swamp)
• Bittercap Mushroom (also in the Whispering Swamp)
• Clay (mined from clay deposits)

Crafting Steps:

Make a Clay Vessel:

• Use Clay on a Pottery Wheel to shape it.
• Fire it in a Kiln to harden.

Brew the Potion:

• Combine Harralander, Bittercap Mushroom, and the Clay Vessel in a Brewing Cauldron.

Step 4: Crafting an Iron Logging Axe to Harvest Bloodwood Sap

The Bloodwood Tree is too tough for basic axes—you’ll need an Iron Logging Axe to extract the sap.

How to Make an Iron Logging Axe:

Materials Needed:

• Iron Bars x6 (smelt Iron Ore in a Furnace)
• Oak Logs x4 (chop Oak Trees)
• Wool Thread x2 (spin Soft Animal Fur/Fleece on a Spinning Wheel)

Crafting Steps:

Mine Iron Ore in the Stormtouched Highlands.

Smelt it into Iron Bars using a Furnace.

Use the Smithing Anvil to combine the materials into an Iron Logging Axe.

Final Step: Collecting the Bloodwood Sap

Once you have:
✔ Antipoison Potions (for survival)
✔ Better Armor/Weapons (for combat)
✔ Iron Logging Axe (for harvesting)

Clear the enemy camp near the Bloodwood Tree to avoid interruptions.

Approach the sap deposits around the tree’s base.

Use the Iron Logging Axe to chop and collect the Bloodwood Sap.
