To unlock Chef in Risk of Rain 2: Seekers of the Storm, players are to do the following.
- 1. Find the Halycon Shrine: The Halycon Shrine is usually a green rod that is located in the first stage of any run.
- 2. Spend 200 Gold: It will spawn enemies and drain gold when turning on the Halycon Shrine. Spend 200 gold to activate it.
- 3. Mini-Boss Beat: After spending 200 gold, a mini-boss will spawn. Defeat it to get a Green Portal.
- 4. Proceed with Green Portal: Activate the Green Portal to head into the secret area unlocked by the DLC.
- 5. Head to Reformed Altar: In this secret area, head to the location with the Reformed Altar.
- 6. Place Required Items: Place the items Bion teak, Cautious lug, and Infusion onto the slabs next to each other near Chef.
- 7. Unlocked Chef: After placing all three items, the Chef gets unlocked and can be used in further runs.
Note: Artifact of Command allows auto-selection of items chosen and gives you more control over it.
