To locate and scan the elusive Alpha Vaperon and begin your research on this unique creature, you'll need to venture to a specific region on the planet Xephyr:

How to Find and Scan an Alpha Vaperon:

Travel to Xephyr: Greater Sand Sea: Your destination is the Greater Sand Sea biome on the planet Xephyr. Use the teleporter on your base ship to travel to this location.

Head Straight and Left: Upon teleporting to the Greater Sand Sea, begin running straight forward and veering slightly towards your left. The sandy, open environment can make navigation a bit disorienting, sokeep your bearings and continue in this general direction.

Reach the Pillars of Turpitude: Continue traversing the desert until you arrive at the Pillars of Turpitude. This landmark is characterized by huge skeletons of deceased alien creatures.

Encounter Vaperons and Other Enemies: The Pillars of Turpitude are a habitat for Vaperons (the smaller, regular version) and potentially other hostile alien creatures. Be prepared for combat and have your weapon ready to defend yourself. Enemies can attack fromvarious directions, so remain vigilant and engage them strategically.
