How to open Wayshrines in Resident Evil 4 remake

If you’re a fan of the horror genre, then you’ve likely played some of the Resident Evil games. The classic horror game series has recently been remade with Resident Evil 4, and just like the original, gamers must explore the game and find any collectable items they can. One of these items are Wayshrines, which are scattered throughout the game and must be unlocked to gain access to special bonuses. In this article, we’ll go over how to unlock these Wayshrines in the Resident Evil 4 remake. 

Wayshrines are special hidden areas in the game which can be unlocked with a special key. These Wayshrines contain a variety of special bonuses, such as extra health, ammo, and upgrades. In order to gain access to these bonuses, players must first find the Old Wayshrine Key, which is necessary to unlock the Wayshrines. 

The Old Wayshrine Key is the key item needed to unlock all of the Wayshrines in the game. Without the key, these Wayshrines will remain inaccessible and the bonuses they contain will remain locked away. Fortunately, the Old Wayshrine Key can be found in the game, and we’ll go over how to find it in the next section. 

The Old Wayshrine Key can be found in the village of Los Illuminados. Specifically, it can be found in the church at the center of the village. It is located on top of the bookshelf, which is the highest shelf in the church. To reach the key, players must climb the ladders and use the various ledges and platforms to reach the top. 

Once you have the Old Wayshrine Key, you can now use it to unlock the Wayshrines in the game. To do this, you will need to find the Wayshrines and then interact with them. When you interact with the Wayshrine, a prompt will appear asking you to use the Old Wayshrine Key. Use the key and the Wayshrine will unlock, granting you access to the special bonuses it contains.
