This time we return with a guide with the objective of explaining to you Where to find the Nanoplated armor set in Remnant 2’s The Dark Horizon.

With Remnant 2's latest DLC, The Dark Horizon, having dropped, players are once again sent into the more mysterious and darker corners of N'Erud. Like with previous downloadable content, there is, of course, a new set of armor that players can find, titled the Nanoplated set of armor-which thankfully can be found pretty early into your one-shot playthrough.

When you arrive at the Desolate Necropolis, one of the first environments in this brief game, all you have to do is go to that area of the map and kill some minions to acquire the Nanoplated armor set.

How to find the armor set of Nanoplated in Remnant 2 - The Dark Horizon



Entering the Withered Necropolis, go toward the far left-hand side of where the Gardener sits. You can either keep right along the border and fight a giant bug-like creature or take the metal ramp to bypass the Gardener. Well, I chose the option shown in the video above to avoid fighting a fairly tough opponent and just have an optional fight that wasn't required of me. Whichever route you take, you eventually come across a cliff edge where you'll encounter some phantom enemies.


Take the hang glider on the edge of this cliff and immediately turn right. You'll see a long bridge with an entrance to the right side that's lit by a bright orange color. Land on that, and head into this small, darkly lit room.


Defeating a few enemies, go through into the next room, to the left. You will see, on the right wall, the Nanoplated armor set. It will glow bright purple. To equip it, you'll access your inventory and select each of the following listed items.

  • Transmisor nanoplateado
  • Platelets adorn these vestments.
  • Your hands are covered in a thin layer of small, sparkling plates.
  • Waist trimmed with nano-sized plates.

Nanoplated is the lightest armor out of most sets in the game. It also features resistance to most status effects, including Bleeding and Blight. It's also one of the most stylish sets of armor, making it a great choice when just traversing the post-apocalyptic-and-extraterrestrial world of N'Erud.


Next to the armor is a small data log on the floor. If you turn it on, you will hear an audio post with the discussion between the two old friends that lived in the land of N'Erud long ago. This audio sequence triggers nothing, but it's a nice pece of information for lore buffs.


Head back to the Gardener's location in the Withered Necropolis, if you haven't unlocked the Warden class yet, on your way out. The Warden archetype is actually situated behind a hidden area to the right of where the Gardener is. Inside this area, you will get the Weather Contraption which you will be able to take to Wallace in Ward 13 to unlock the newest character class.
