To activate the Warden in The Dark Horizon, you will have to go through the game and find him.
The Warden class is not exactly easy to unlock; it is well hidden if you do not know where it is, and it could take you some time to figure it out. If you follow only the main settings of the story, you will have to unlock it in your second playthrough. Here is basic information on how to unlock a Warden character in Remnant 2's Dark Horizon DLC.
How to Unlock Warden Class in Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon
To activate the Warden, head to the Withered Necropolis at the Waylaid Conservatory checkpoint. This location in the early parts of Remnant 2's The Dark Horizon DLC will allow you to obtain the latest archetype much more easily than would typically be possible. When you arrive at the Desolate Necropolis, you'll want to push through the checkpoint and move toward the large structure. You want to head in the direction opposite to that which the Gardener is facing.
There should be a sailplane at the other end of this area; be prepared to go through a couple of groups of enemies on your way there. For Withered Necropolis, you won't have to go very deep into it to find what you're looking for. The rest of it is pretty much a maze.
Grab the glider and immediately head right, hugging the edge of this cliff. This may appear to you as if you are just wandering in a meaningless manner; however, there are several gusts of wind rising from this place that you can harness when you reach the bend of this rocky wall. These strong gusts of wind will lift you up even though you are on the verge of falling. You will have to hit two of them, and the last one will lead you to a hidden platform that you could never access from other places in Remnant 2.
Once you land on this platform, you'll find many enemies guarding this place. To send your character further in Remnant 2, just head left through this path. There is a strong boss waiting for you through this way. Down this path once you've defeated him, until you reach a terminal you can interact with; it contains the Weathered Mechanism. Now, take it to Ward 13 and show it to Wallace, who can convert it into the Command Module. You can now add it to the list of archetypes that you will have available to use freely in Remnant 2, as long as you own the Dark Horizon DLC.
Warden is a classic class that takes on the role of the support character in any party of adventurers.
