In the cooperative climbing game PEAK, players can earn badges as a form of in-game achievements. The game currently features over 40 badges, with new ones being added with each major update. One of these is the Volcanology Badge, which can be easily unlocked by following a specific set of steps.Here’s how you can get the Volcanology Badge in PEAK.

PEAK: How To Get the Volcanology Badge

The official description for the Volcanology Badge is simply, "Climb beyond the Caldera." This refers to a specific action you need to perform in the Volcano biome. To get the badge, you must:

• Make your way to the Volcano biome.
• Find and acquire a pair of binoculars.
• Once in the Volcano biome, use the binoculars and look directly into the volcano's lava.

While the objective itself is straightforward, the most challenging part is finding the binoculars, as they are a random drop and do not have a fixed spawn location.

Binoculars can spawn in various biomes, but they appear most frequently in the Shore biome. You should look for them near the crash site, where other importantitems like the compass often spawn. Since the item drop is random, itmay take a few attempts to find them.

Completing the Badge Challenge

Once you have the binoculars and are in the Volcano biome, follow these steps:

• Stand on a ledge or platform where you have a clear view of the volcano's caldera.
• Pull out the binoculars from your inventory.
• Look into the binoculars and aim your view directly at the lava inside the volcano.
• Maintain your focus on the lava for a few seconds.

After a short delay, you will receive a pop-up on your screen confirming that you have successfully unlocked the Volcanology Badge.
