How to Get the Participation Badge in PEAK

In PEAK, a co-op climbing and survival game, you and your friends must scale a massive mountain after a plane crash. The game offers over 30 unique badges that you can earn to demonstrate your skills, with each badge having its own specific requirements.One of the most uniquely named badges is Participation, and its objective isn't immediately obvious. It's a team-based achievement that you can only earn in multiplayer mode.

PEAK: How to Get the Participation Badge

To earn the Participation badge, you must be dead (in ghost form) when your team reaches the summit of the mountain and escapes.If your friends manage to complete the climb and get on the rescue helicopter while you are a ghost, you will be awarded the badge. It's a playful twist on achievements, as it's the only one you get for dying.Important Notes for Earning the Badge:

• You must be in ghost form at the moment your team completes the climb. Simply being left behind somewhere on the mountain won't count; you must die first.
• This is a co-op-only badge. You cannot unlock it in solo mode, as you need a team to reach the summit without you.

A strategic way to earn this badge without making the climb too difficult for your teammates is to help them through the most challenging parts of the mountain. Then, once you are close to the summit, you can die intentionally (e.g., by falling off a cliff). This way, you still contribute to the team's success, and everyone wins: your friends get an easier climb, and you get the achievement.

Reward for Completing the Participation Achievement

The Participation Badge is not just for bragging rights. Upon completion, you will unlock the Castaway outfit, a cosmetic item for your character. You can also try to earn other badges during the same run, such as Bouldering (using 10 Pitons) or Bookworm (finding 8 journal entries), to maximize your rewards from a single expedition.
