In the Overwatch 2 cooperative mission Junkenstein's Revenge, a squad of four players must protect the gate of Adlersbrunn Castle. You can choose between four different settings in this defend-the-objective game mode: regular, hard, expert, and legendary.
In this mode, waves of foes will appear at regular intervals and attempt to breach the castle door; clearing them out is the main objective. Between waves, Dr. Junkenstein will send forth minions from his crew to act as bosses, and then he will make an appearance. The sequence in which the villains will appear is as follows:
Once you've dispatched the initial wave of foes, you'll have to face another wave of adversaries before The Witch appears. Instead of fighting, the Witch will bring back the three villains including Dr. Junkenstein all at once. Once you've eliminated all four bad guys, including Dr. Junkenstein, the task will be complete.

Only Damage and Support Heroes are available in Overwatch 2 Revenge game mode, which is based on Junkenstein. Here is a list of all the heroes that can be used in this mode:

- The Widowmaker, Torbjorn Tracer
- Ana Baptiste's support
- Zenyatta, Brigitte
- Three Damage Heroes and one Support Hero would be the optimal combination for this game format.
Among Heroes, Torbjorn may be the most suitable for this method of play. When it comes to clearing enemy waves, his Deploy Turret is invaluable. At the precise spots where foes emerge, he is able to halt their progress by rapidly charging up his ultimate, Molten Core.
In Junkenstein's Revenge, Cassidy would make a good backup Damage Hero. While his basic weapon's lightning speed and pinpoint accuracy make it ideal for crowd control, his ultimate Deadeye is capable of doing enormous damage to bosses.
We need a long-range shooter for the last Damage Hero, and Widowmaker is the perfect choice. From the safety of the back lines, she can continue firing even while others are unable to reach certain areas. Because enemies always travel in predictable patterns, Her Venom Mines, when planted near their spawn points, give constant value.
Ana should be your first pick for the Support Hero role to round out your team. In the first place, she can stay safe from harm because her main weapon is effective at long range. The combination of Cassidy's Deadeye and her ultimate Nano Boost is lethal to bosses.
