Welcome to our guide on How to play Junkenstein's Lab mode in Overwatch 2 in a specific and detailed way.
In honor of the spooky holiday, Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled Overwatch 2 Junkenstein's Lab mode just in time for Halloween. With Overwatch 2 Season 13 update, a new game mode called "Halloween" was added to the arcade playlist, much like every year. In this post, we will go over each and every detail of the Overwatch 2 Junkenstein Lab event.
The Lab mode Junkenstein
Lab mode in Overwatch 2 Junkenstein is like quickplay or comp playlists, but with a twist. Once you've locked in, switching heroes will no longer be possible.
The new Halloween mode allows players to take on the roles of the following heroes:
- The following characters: Tank, DVa, Orisa Reinhardt, DPS Ashe, Genji, Reaper, Soldier 76, Pharah, and Healer.
- Zenyatta, Kiriko, Mercy, Moira, and Moira
A deck of cards called Monstrous Mutations will be available to each hero, allowing them to customize their kit in various ways. For instance, when playing Soldier, I had the option to draw a card that granted me a Biotic Field that could follow my every move. The game begins with two cards, and as you go through the rounds, you'll have the opportunity to choose one more.
This event does not require any specific maps. Whoever gets three rounds first wins the match.
- This is a map of Illyos, Lijiang Tower, Oasis, Busan, and Antarctica.
- Additionally, Junkenstein's Lab mode is connected to the Halloween Terror event challenges. To get event-exclusive stuff and finish the missions, you have to play this event. Playing this game style will also earn you experience in Battlepass.
How to play Junkenstein's Lab mode in Overwatch 2
The Junkenstein Lab game mode has two entry points. To begin, go to the main menu and look for the Halloween Terror page. That's where you'll see the option to launch the game mode. Alternately, you can access the Junkenstein's Lab playlist and prior Halloween events by navigating to Play, then Arcade.
The Junkenstein's Lab boasts
Since most of Overwatch's Halloween-themed game modes have been cooperative adventures set in the Eichenwalde map, Junkenstein's Lab marks the first-ever player vs player event. You have to fight for and capture one point to win a round in the capture game mode.
Less maps and heroes mean the same basic gameplay as in quickplay and ranked. Once you've locked in, you can't change characters either.
The event's crowning glory is its one-of-a-kind deck system, which bestows exciting new powers on your heroes. If you're sick of playing Overwatch 2 ranked and quickplay modes, this arcade event might be just what you need to relax.
In conclusion, knowing How to play Junkenstein's Lab mode in Overwatch 2 is interesting because it allows us to develop and have more fun as we progress in this busy game.
