Despite the importance of this resource, very few players know how they can grow it to supply themselves with it and if you are one of them, don't worry, since we bring you an explanatory guide with everything you need to know about it.
How to Make Gunpowder in Once Human?
1. Crafting Gunpowder:
- Head to the Supplies Workbench in your base.
- Look for the Gunpowder recipe, which requires:
- 5x Sulfur
- 3x Charcoal
- 3x Acid
- Sulfur can be found in the form of grey nodes or deposits with yellow patches. These are scattered throughout the map, but you'll have better luck in forested areas and near roads and water bodies (rivers and lakes). Each node yields around 16-20 Sulfur⁴.
- Charcoal can be obtained by placing logs in a furnace.

- Once you've collected all the ingredients, hit the Craft button to create gunpowder.
2. Best Sulfur Farm Location:
- YouTuber CosminCox recommends the sulfur farm location in Chalk Peak. Activate the nearest teleportation tower and ride your motorbike to the specified coordinates⁴.
3. Making Ammo:
- Unlock the Ammunition I blueprint from the Memetics menu under Crafting.
- Use gunpowder to craft Copper Pistol Ammo, Copper SMG ammo, and more.
- Note that some recipes may require Copper Ingots in addition to gunpowder.
- Ensure you've unlocked Essential Tools to access the Supplies Workbench, which can be built with 30x Logs and 20x Copper Ore.
