A furnace is an essential structure in Once Human, as it allows you to smelt ores into materials needed to craft a wide range of items, from weapons and armor to advanced crafting items. To build a furnace, you will have to follow two main steps: unlock the blueprint and then build it with the necessary resources.

How to Build a Furnace in Once Human

Unlock the oven blueprint:

Open the character menu by pressing the Tab key.
Navigate to the "Cradle" option, which represents your skill tree.
Within the Crib menu, look for the "Infrastructure" section.
Locate the skill called "Casting Fundamentals" and learn it. This will unlock the furnace blueprint.

Build the oven:

Enter build mode by pressing the B key.
Go to the "Production Processing" tab in the build menu.
Look for the oven icon in the tab and select it.
Make sure you have the necessary resources:
20 Copper ores: Obtained by extracting rocks in the world.
30 Gravel: Can be collected from resource deposits and even iron ore.
Locate a valid place within your territory to place the oven. A green outline will indicate a suitable location.
Left click to confirm construction and place the oven.

Additional Tips:

Make sure you have enough space for the oven inside your base.
You can place multiple furnaces if you need to increase your smelting capacity.
If you run out of resources, you can explore the world to find more or trade with other players.

With a functional furnace at your base, you'll be ready to transform your raw materials into valuable crafting components and progress through Once Human.
