One of the elements that it brought with it were the new security silos and among these we find the EX1 security silo that, although it may have the same name, it is a little different and therefore, you may find yourself a little confused about how you can complete it. How to clear Silo EX1 

Procedure:


1. First Encounter: As you enter the elevator, you'll get into a fight with Rosetta soldiers. Take them down with whatever strategy you usually use in combat.

2. Loot Acquisition: Entering the area, take the room to the left at the first opportunity; there are double doors inside. Scavenge valuables from inside.

3. Choosing Your Path: You have two options for how to proceed:

  • Shortcut: If you have a grenade or Unstable Bomber, you can use it to blow out the wall to open a shortcut in the very first room on your right.
  • Primary Route: The other way is to head toward the other side of the room and move out with the V3 Access Card. If you choose the main path, remember to get the loot that was hiding behind cell A009 on the bottom floor.

4. Portal Discovery: Go down the hallway to the west side of the top floor to the next room. This portal is behind the locked cell door of B023.

5. Cell Door Activation: On the top floor, find the switch and flip it. It opens all the cell doors and allows access to the portal.

6. Eliminate Remaining Enemies and Trigger Switches: In the old boss' room, kill off the few remaining enemies in the area. After that, trigger switches on the top and bottom floor that will open up all the prison cell doors. While at it, do remember to loot everything that is kept behind the double doors on the bottom.

7. Boss Room Entry: Once both switches are turned on, the prison doors will open to reveal, on the bottom floor and adjacent to the loot room, a portal; step through the portal for access to the boss's room.

8. Engage Boss: The boss's room is completely filled with red light. Avoid touching the light, as it will hurt your character. Use a Festering Gel deviation to give yourself a better chance at surviving this boss.
