GTA 6 rumors suggest multiple cities and will be for next-gen consoles - Ultimate Guide

Although some years of comments full of expectations have already passed, the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 has not yet been announced officially by its developer Rockstar Games. However, recently there have been rumors about what fans can very probably expect from what the new sequel brings: GT6.

Recently, information was leaked from the expected GT6, which was uploaded to Pastebin, as mentioned in a Reddit thread. The alleged filtration makes the claim that the new game will include several cities, where players will start in Liberty City as criminals of little class, who then move to Vice City to end up joining a gang. Also, players will have among their tasks to deal with certain businesses in Liberty City, and thus see themselves becoming big drug criminals in Vice City.

On the other hand, another leak of GTA6 that was generated from another source of unconventional information in regards to videogame news, and is that it came from the website website of company review, Glassdoor. A current Rockstar employee listed several sentences that exclaim "GTA6LSVCLC" with his first letters. It is presumed that these letters refer to the words Grand Theft Auto 6, Los Santos, Vice City and Liberty City.

Although both are unconfirmed information, they are clearly related to what each one communicates.

The same source that disclosed the information in Pastebin, assured that GTA 6 also goes to count with flashbacks between the missions, due to certain stores that sell different articles at different times.

Another new thing included in GTA 6, also mentioned by the leak, are the dialogues of the Strangers that their developer Rockstar integrated into Red Dead Redemption 2.

The leak also spoke of the future plans that the developer has for the online component of GTA 6, including important content, such as new cities. Also, it was mentioned that Rockstar is working together with Sony and Microsoft in order to enable games in the cloud.

The issue of the release of GTA 6 was also addressed in the same filtration. The source mentioned that even if you have an idea as to when it will be released, the developer first wants to see the sales of the next generation consoles: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. This is because, presumably GTA 6 can not be executed by the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One due to memory restrictions.

Although the filtering is anonymous, meaning that there is no way to confirm whether the information is authentic or not, in the Reddit thread Pastebin filtering was eliminated. However, such action was not made by its creator since said information was loaded by an account whose time stamp was unlimited. This gives to think that Rockstar could press so that such filtration was eliminated. Although it could also easily be a move that the same developer has prepared to increase the expectations of fans while GTA 6 arrives. It could also be completely false.

For now it remains unclear when Rockstar will make the official announcement of GTA 6, which is reportedly in development since 2016. Many consider that it could be the best Grand Theft Auto. It remains to wait for the information that the developer may be making known, when it is ready.
